I think for a force pop NM, you should ask the people who are dead in /say for a sackholder to reply if they wanna let us take it, or if they want it to despawn, i can respect both opinions.

In my opinion, if my group gets there to pop the NM with our own items and we watch or find another LS that wipe to it:

1. wait for it to despawn and help raise the dead, or
2. contact their leader, if they agree our ally could fight it as if it was one of our pops, help raise the dead when its safe and give one of our pop items back to them.

here is a story somehow related to your question lylie:

Our linkshell had a very hard time when we tried to kill our first Kirin. While fighting, Moonlight LS (Valefor) started to show up to fight their own pop after us. While waiting they helped us with some raises but we still couldn't recover. Kirin aggro them too so when unclaimed and when we could no longer fight it, they had no other choice but to fight it. We didn't argue with them because it was perfectly reasonable, it was killing them so our linkshell left the room and we forgot about it.

One week later one of their members contacted us and gave us a shining cloth that had drop on that fight.

To us it felt very good to know that a LS acted like that.

Well, I just saw the disclaimer on BG main page, and I wanted to know your opinion about one of these "Not writen rules".

My LS have been MPKd at Hakutaku by a new LS half Gil Sellers and half NAs (GM watched and jailed them 15min after, banned half of their LS). But thats not the point.

We came to discuss of this point:
Can another LS claim a forced pop NM if the LS who poped it, wipe?

Im thinking of NMs / HNMs / Gods such as Hakutaku, Bomb Queen, Alastor Antlion, or Kirin.

If you see a LS wipe to Kirin, will you wait for it to depop and pop your own, or claim and kill it?

Imo, Im against claiming the NM if I see another LS wipe, because it would be like stealing their NM, and all the time they spent to farm the pop Items.

Hey if they are wiped and the NM is just gonna despawn it is an absolute waste. Saying that an ls that just happens along and kills the NM after the popping linkshell has died are assholes is kinda spiteful. Lets be honest, it is common to see other with the attitude "well if i can't have it, nobody can". The NM is popped, it might as well be killed, and if the ls that popped it is dead it is fair game.
