Uh... going to change nothing. The best a RDM can get Phalanx is about -30 damage per hit. That will help on like... Charybdis, and I doubt the bloodpact will as good as 30.

yah, moonlin path is fenrir and mama mia is evoker's ring. So I'm kinda hoping it has nothing to do with the tuning in tuning out quest, that's annoying as hell. Fomors are just nasty.

SMN Stoneskin isn't has strong as the spell is it?

Besides, SMNs can do Stoneskin OR Phalanx once a minute, RDMs can do both at the same time at least twice a minute.

As a blm, my stoneskin absorbs 300+...a rdm can top 350. Titan tops out at what, 150ish? Also, the spell overwrites earthern ward.

However, AA>>>>Blink (3 shadows to 2), so it's 50/50 if phalanxga will be more powerful than the normal spell (I doubt it...it might be equal if SE wants to be fair about it).

Which is precisely the reason I believe skill affects Titant's stoneskin dmg absorption. Nikkei, I'm soooo getting that last skill during this week u know when .

Earthward caps out at 200 hp absorbed regardless of the smn since it's forumla is dependent on lvl. Look at some of the summoner FAQs and guides they have all formulas for things listed. Stoneskin >> earthward since it has a different multiplier.

Hmm, when people said they wanted new avatars, they came up with ridiculous ideas of overpowered Bahamut and Phoenix.

But SE has done the opposite. You fight Diabolos but it becomes an avatar. You get to fight Bahamut.

And, judging from the blood pact list... Diabolos isn't over- or underpowered, but has it's place for some things, just like every other avatar.

I'm afraid to say this but...

I love SE now.

They keep getting better, update-wise.

It's just that RDM no longer has anything that's unique to its job now. Every other job has unique abilities and spells. RDM doesn't even have self things that are unique anymore.

It looks like more proof to me that RDM is the loner of the world, while other jobs get identical AOE spells that benefit the entire pt. First ballad, now aoe phalanx. RDM IS ON THE WAY OUT THE DOOR (minus the part where there better main healers than whms in an alliance).
