The thing about Phalanx is, I don't know if it'll be good in EXP PTs, I need to cure myself a bit early on to get some hate, I wouldn't want to wait 3-4 attack rounds just to be able to get a full cure3, or my hate would be screwed, but I'm hoping it'll be good.

I don't think phalanx-ga is enough to make PLDs any better in merit parties though

WAR can already wear basically everything. PLD/DRK/DRG/THF got some gear from Proto-Omega, and DRK has a BC dedicated to a JSE. BST can wear alot of things like WAR can. DRG's gear drops from Jorm...

The statement that those jobs got no love makes little sense to me except for PLD and BST.

Eh....I'm not happy with all of DRK JSE. The body and head armor is near useless compared to much easier to get pieces of armor, and the legs seem to be the only worthwhile piece of armor.

SAM actually takes full advantage of every piece of their JSE(with exceptions if they have the stupidly expensive alky's bracelets).

- Feet depends on your RSE
- Voyager Sallet > Head Piece
- Pants suck
- Hands depends on if you have Kotes and Bracelets for equip macros

they are okay but all of them get replaced at 75 and most of them have equal or decent gear that you should already have before Lv 71.

So... blinkga, stop 3 hits of probably 300-600 damage each, or phalanxga and probably stop 20 damage per hit for a minute. Unless they change it so you can suddenly have more than 6 people in your party, phalanxga isn't going to be a factor. If they make it powerful enough it would be used over aerial armor then it'll be broken.

It'd take like 4-5 spartans if you want it constantly on. Its the same as the magic spell Phalanx and you don't need an enhancing magic skill.
