no one on my server goes with 64 people, we get similar results with 20-30 people. and my LS has been the most flexible group, when we do weekend runs, we've gone on Fri, Sat or Sun.

but not everyone can schedule 20+ people randomly all the time.

being able to do the same thing with less people is a good thing not a bad thing, it doesn't mean good things can't cause problems.

there were a lot less people who died to plane crashes 2000 years ago, just because some people do now doesn't mean the invention of the airplane is a bad thing.

You can do dynamis with 6 people and "do the same thing." If your server is fine cockblocking each other by taking 20 people into a dynamis instance then don't wonder why you're having problems.

if those 6 can get the same or better dynamis currency and AF2 per person, than why the hell not? that's what some people do for Limbus now anyway.

i really doubt your 50+ LS are averaging 600 coins and 25 AF2s per city run. because with half the people, we get about half that on average and we have hit 500 on a good day. have you hit 1k currency on a good day?

I don't think anyone is going to complain though, since lv 5 relic weapons have been outted as being worthless.

lol a bit of a stretch. Name one weapon with higher DPS than a relic weapon.

where were you when warriors w/ lv 5 relic great axe saw that dual wielding axe + ridill was far more dmg than the 400 mil weapon.

someone also posted saying that destroyers were close to the lv 5 relic weapons, and they're free.

its not a stretch to expect a year of farming dynamis + massive money to be the absolute best weapon possible...yet there are equal weapons already in the game and in some cases better that don't cost anything at all.

It is pretty funny that Ridill outclasses the relic weapons. They aren't a total wash though, still good against higher stuff. I can certainly see why one would be dissapointed with them, especially the 2 handed ones, however. If I remember correctly our WAR with Bravura said that Martial Bhuj was better half the time, though I could be misquoting him.

If you don't care how much TP you give a mob, don't care about double light bursts and letting your mages do more damage, then maybe ridill can be better.

Are the relics generally underpowered for their cost, yes, but they're MORE powerful than they appeared in the .dat files. People shouldn't be surprised at the damage they're doing with them, they should be happy they're getting the extra crit damage at all. The guy with full relic ax in our LS as WAR/DRK was doing > 1k weaponskills while triple weakened (his WS agro being WHY he was triple weakened) in Dynamis last week. So it's not like the relics exactly suck either.

I mean Ridill is better against lower stuff, like EXP mobs/lower NM's. Double light and more SC possibilities are nice, but the new WS's seem to be generally mediocre. The main problem people have had with the 2 handed relics is that they're not much of an upgrade over the readily available stuff. At least that's why ours didn't like it (The G.Axe). They require a ridiculous amount of time, effort, and money on the part of the upgrader and their LS, and several NA's who've finished don't think it was worth it. Half the threads on this forum go way off topic, so I'll stop this unrelated discussion.

And as wierd as it sounds, I really, really enjoy the CoP missions. I am on 6-4 right now, and not only is the story great, but the BCs are a challenging experience that pumps my adrenaline. You guys can say how bad sea is all you want, but I still want it. You can exp there, finish CoP missions, do limbus, and maybe you will just get lucky and get that drop from the In'xearn (sp?)

Actually, our dynamis LS does indeed average 20ish AF per city run, including jueno, and anywhere from 300-800 currency(i remember a run maybe a month ago where 6 100's dropped in one run, Along with the 200 or so singles that drop). We also clear every mob in every main city except windurst, which is only a few statues that we miss as of now i think.

Granted we'll get like 8 of one AF or something usually, but it's still AF.


As far as the new dynamis' go, it's making me wish i'd postponed my retirement a few weeks, cause these latest updates do sound like a lot of fun.
