CoP wyrms dropping the rare/ex orb seems to be the most plausable idea put up to the table so far.

Well what else could drop the Monarch Orb? We tried farming Ignidrakes and Pyrodrakes in RivB01, neither dropped it. We went back to the Bahamut BC distortion after JP midnight and nothing happend, we went to Monarch linn after JP midnight and nothing happend.

COP wyrms and lv75 ENMs seem like reasonable places for it to come from, however it could always be unimplemented :/

Maybe there will be a reason to kill Jormungand more than twice! Im sure ppl will be all over the Wyrms ass when they pop. None popped on carby yet as far as i know.

Maybe you don't even need the orb lol. Everyone is so focused on this orb. The most obvious solution is to simply wait and go back to the palace next conquest update. Esha'ntarl even said "Gather an army while I investigate matters more." it sounds like a classic "fuck off until conquest update" line to me. /shrug

It's probably to fix the little glitch where when you are in the cutscene and if someone casts a spell on you it locks everything up.

Same here. Also, we just killed Tiamat and no new drops.

They probably just fixed the bug where when people were casted on while getting Bahamut CS (1), their game would freeze.
