If there is an order, see if it is corresponding with the positions of the NMs ;o that could save time. (for example, clockwise)

Koschei is the damage spike Dragon. He's on the southern cliff by mhaura overlooking the beach to Bibiki.

Does anyone know what/where the body slam dragon is? We killed the heavy stomp dragon and thought we were in the clear, but forgot all about body slam. AB started using this at around 50% and people started dropping like flies.

Tarasca - Heavy Stomp (Goblin Statue Area)
    Stihi - Flame Breath
Vishap - Poison Breath (South of Onzozo Beach)
Stollenwurm - Lodesong [Graviga] (First Beach West of Mhaura)
Avitaras - Void Song (roams open area north of Mhaura)
    Basilic -
    Alklha -
    Barong -
Jurik - (North of Onzozo beach near possible ???)
Koschei - Thorn Song(Cliff South of Mhaura, east of Bibiki Beach)

Missing Abilities - Chaos Blade, Petro Eyes, Wind Breath, Body Slam

This is my list so far, I forgot about Body Slam cause MysteryTour didn't list it. So there are 10 dragon abilities now?

Can someone check the .dat files and get the list of NM names to verify this list of dragons and to also help fill in the blanks on the beastmen NM's?

Please excuse the long post, as this covers every entry in the Dynamis - Buburimu DAT file. Those looking deeper into the area will find interest in this.

The Dynamis - Buburimu DAT file is here:

The following listing shows my speculation as to what pops what based on the arrangement of the names in the DAT file, as well as all the dragons and Nightmare mobs.

That's the end of the list of beastmen. The dragons are as follows:

    Stihi
    Vishap
    Jurik
    Barong
    Tarasca
    Alklha
    Basilic
    Aitvaras
    Koshchei
    Stollenwurm
    Apocalyptic Beast

...and uh, you better kill the DRG NM, because the following comes directly after the Beast, meaning they are all his:

    Dragon's Wyvern
    Dragon's Wyvern
    Dragon's Wyvern
    Dragon's Wyvern
    Dragon's Wyvern
    Dragon's Avatar
    --------------------------------------------------------
The rest of the DAT file is filled with the following Nightmare monsters:

    (20) Nightmare Crab
    (26) Nightmare Dhalmel
    (22) Nightmare Uragnite
    (21) Nightmare Scorpion
    (20) Nightmare Bunny
    (24) Nightmare Mandragora
    (20) Nightmare Cockatrice
    (26) Nightmare Raven
    (24) Nightmare Crawler
    (20) Nightmare Eft

Directly following those is the "???" in the file, then a blank space, then 4 "Moogle" NPCs, which seem to be in every zone in the game. The file ends with yet another "???" inbetween two blank spaces.

    ADDED IN EDIT:

After analyzing the above data, specifically the beastmen monsters and the NMs, I've come up with the following list of what NM is what job and how many of each vanguard beastman there is:

    [11]Goblin Replica (Goblins)
    [18]Total Mobs
    [3]Notorius Monsters

    (DRK)Shamblix Rottenheart
    (RDM)Gosspix Blabberlips

    [1]Vanguard Impaler
    [2]Vanguard Dollmaster

    [13]Adamantking Effigy (Quadavs)
    [30]Total Mobs
    [4]Notorius Monsters

    (WAR)Qu'Pho Bloodspiller
    (WHM)Gi'Bhe Fleshfeaster
    (PLD)Te'Zha Ironclad
    (THF)Va'Rhu Bodysnatcher

    [4]Vanguard Thaumaturge
    [2]Vanguard Protector
    [1]Vanguard Purloiner
    [3]Vanguard Defender
    [2]Vanguard Vigilante
    [2]Vanguard Beasttender
    [2]Vanguard Minstrel
    [2]Vanguard Mason
    [2]Vanguard Hatamoto
    [2]Vanguard Kusa
    [2]Vanguard Drakekeeper
    [2]Vanguard Undertaker

    [13]Manifest Icon (Yagudos)
    [29]Total Mobs
    [4]Notorius Monsters

    (SAM)Koo Rahi the Levinblade
    (SMN)Baa Dava the Bibliophage
    (NIN)Doo Peku the Fleetfoot
    (BRD)Ree Nata the Melomanic
    [2]Vanguard Skirmisher
    [2]Vanguard Sentinel
    [1]Vanguard Priest
    [1]Vanguard Prelate
    [1]Vanguard Visionary
    [2]Vanguard Liberator
    [2]Vanguard Exemplar
    [3]Vanguard Inciter
    [2]Vanguard Orgesoother
    [3]Vanguard Chanter
    [1]Vanguard Salvager
    [2]Vanguard Persecutor
    [3]Vanguard Assassin
    [2]Vanguard Partisan
    [2]Vanguard Oracle

Following that, I looked back at Lui's dragon listing and matched the TP moves up according to that information, and confirmed the NMs names:

    Stihi - Flame Breath
    Vishap - Poison Breath
    Jurik -
    Barong -
    Tarasca - Heavy Stomp
    Alklha -
    Basilic -
    Aitvaras - Voidsong
    Koshchei - Thornsong
    Stollenwurm - Lodesong

    Missing:
    Chaos Blade
    Petro Eyes
    Wind Breath
    Body Slam

    Apocalyptic Beast - Boss

Based on the way SE has arranged the DAT file thus far, and the constant patterns they have been using, I speculate the following filled in list for the dragons' TP moves:

    Stihi - Flame Breath
    Vishap - Poison Breath
    Jurik - Wind Breath
    Barong - Chaos Blade
    Tarasca - Heavy Stomp
    Alklha - Body Slam
    Basilic - Petro Eyes
    Aitvaras - Voidsong
    Koshchei - Thornsong
    Stollenwurm - Lodesong

The reasoning behind this is the 'groups' of TP moves and their targets. The breaths are all frontal AoE, so I figured they would be grouped. There is no way for me to tell whether Wind Breath and Chaos Blade would be reversed, though. Body Slam was put after Heavy Stomp as they are very similar moves. Petro Eyes sat lonely, so I just filled it in.

Thank you so much for analyzing the .dat's.. Could you analyze the .dat's for the other zones like you did? Getting an estimate of the number of mobs makes mapping it out easier. I won't ask you to do that for the old Dynamis's, but I didn't realize you could analyze the pops from each statue. Are the numbers in front of the nightmare mobs the number of mobs that are in the zone?

I'll do the other zones, yeah, but I haven't been to them so it'll be harder to understand I think.

Is there a DAT editor that you use or will any hex editor work? I'm mostly interested in seeing how many mobs are in each of the old dynamis zones to get some idea of how abysmal the drop rate really is.

Petro Eyes actually makes sense with the dragon you assigned it to (Basilic, similar to Basilisk, legendary creature whose gaze would petrify travelers).

Thanks for all the good info posted here. I am assigned to developing zone strategies for my Dynamis LS, and while we are still trying to get a bunch of people access, this will be of great benefit in coming up with a game plan with the rest of the officer staff.

Alot of the NM names make sense if you go to dictionary.com for their meanings, that's how I found quite a few of the NM 's jobs in past dynamis. However some of them make little sense (like the SMN NM named Bibilio whatever, biblio refers to books).

Just did Dynamis-Bubu with my linkshell, was certainly an experience. I was left to my own devices to scout out the map as best as possible while they did all the fighting. Here are the Dragon's and locations I found (sorry if these are already known)

    Alkhla - Outside Shakrhami.
Stihi - Right of that patrolling G6/H6 area.
Basilic - I6/7 (hard to define this... he was walking amongst pillars on a hill).
Tarasca - Right side of F7 square.
Barong - Waaaay down in the SW corner at E9.
    Stollenwurm - Khooma Dunes.

Oh I didn't fucking touch them lol. I was alone and roaming the entire zone doing my best to avoid all agro (and I succeeded!).

We didn't win, we got destroyed. I didn't really mind though as it's a learning experience. I'm planning it all out with my LS leader now so we have a clearly defined strat for our next attempt.

One other point to make is on the first enemy, a PLD NM, PLD gloves dropped. Coincidence?!?!?!?!?/1/

    1) Killing the Beastmen NM of the appropriate job does indeed prevent AB from using that 2-hour. We confirmed this today.
    2) We also confirmed that killing the appropriate dragon prevents AB from using that TP attack. We only killed Voidsong, Lodesong, and Flame Breath dragons and did fine (actually meant to kill Heavy Stomp dragon instead of Flame Breath one ... oops XD)
    3) Killing AB causes all the other dragons in the zone to despawn, and causes the Nightmare mobs to spawn according to the map below ... nightmare mobs dropped belts, capes, and AF2-1...

    http://www.tarupanic.com/sykes/misc/...buburimu-2.jpg[/img]

btw, Urganites are wtfpwnage ... 35 or 40 HP a tic poison, AoE plague, and AoE gravity all spammed are pretty hard to deal with.

Interesting, so only kill as many dragons as you need to. Nightmare mobs are for farming.

When you say you killed the Flame Breath, but meant to kill body slam, did the names line up?

We got 60 minutes when we killed AB.

The Dragons depop, but the beastmen and statues don't. It looks like the big statues in the zone do depop though ... or at least I never saw one while mapping out the zone after AB was dead.

In this zone, Nightmare mobs seem to drop all the accessories and -1, while the Beastmen drop the regular AF.
