There was a tool that let you change your sj on the fly, but they supposedly fixed it.

The SS looks fairly legit to me, its pretty easy to check if its photoshopped or not. I remember when I was around a lv 47 SAM, I saw a player w/ a polearm + shield, asked a gm "wtf how can he do that?" and the gm said it was "a quest to equip sub-items for 2handed weapons", naturally I knew he was full of shit but thats life.

Deleting a thread instantly w/ a SS seems like a blantant coverup. If its false, a straight-forward the game glitched nigga plz we don't hack would've seemed like a responsible response.

and secondly, the post was deleted way faster than any reply was placed -- the least they could have done was reply to it, and instead, they panicked.

I want to add this too though ^^ "the game glitched nigga plz we don't hack". Wonder why that thread was deleted? Because it's a weekly thing of people making fake names to hide like pansys and accuse us of whatever they feel like making up for the day.

How do you really expect us to prove our innocence anyway? Is there anything AT ALL that would make you satisfied? Of course not, and thus we don't even try anymore. Nike and Wheaties know the truth, they aren't going to stop sponsoring us .

1) Going by a totally logical perspective... why would Cheryll, one of IRON's most trusted members (that has been in IRON forever and ever, might I add), be running around with hacked whatevers in a public area? I mean, if you're going to blatantly hack like the screenshot shows, wouldn't you do it in a concealed surrounding? (No, I am not condoning or trying to give people ideas, just trying to show how the thing makes no sense ). Since the screenshot came from a... "reputable" source... I'd just like to chock it up to some odd mixture of lag or somesuch on Verix's end, and leave it there- inter-LS wars have yet to develop fully on Bismarck, I would love for it to remain that way.

2) Packet sniffing? Ollz. I play on PS2, and own a connection speed that most people can only dream of. Attribute that to my claiming abilities prepatch (yet I really didn't claim all that many things to begin with, heh... but people love to be odd and make up cute little stories about their opposition... demonization I think is the word... or is it propanganda?) against most American players (most: There's always someone faster). Consequently, I now get locked out 80% of the time I try and claim anything, and when I try to delay myself on claiming someone else ends up claiming first. So now my speed works against me.

I have sniffed those little packets of pepper on dares before, though. >_>

Actually, at the prime of my claiming career there weren't really that many people in the King zones. It was months ago, so my numbers are no doubt quite off but I like how numbers and statistics add this cool and suave feel to my writing and... anyway! But I can still safely manage to say that places like the Dragon's Aery months ago usually only went up to a vast maximum of 60-80individuals. Yeah, Bismarck is cool like that... or was ;_; (now it's as you said, 140ish and rising). IRON never ever claimed with the JPs in zone back then, but when the ToDs were in direct NA primetime we did have a pretty decent track record. Yet naturally it was not perfect. If my memory serves me correctly, one LS had a JP member on PS2 or something (never once did we claim over him :/), and another one of our competing LSs at the time had people with connection speeds similar to my own. In fact, most of our (the VAST majority, hehe) Fafnir/Nidhogg kills have happened after-the anti-jp patch, which we at one time dubbed the IRON-Patch for it's restrictions on killtime/etc (whoohoo godmode!).

And we have a strict policy of not adding to nor abiding drama of any kind, hence why a thread such as the one you recommend (Drama Consolidation ;x) would not be in our best interest.. Hell, My first post in this thread will most likely get me in trouble for its slight yet present verbal jabs at various groups.

Only he does play on PS2... we know exactly who plays on PS2 and who doesn't in the LS. Back when we could barely claim anything, we had a PS2 player that used to claim HNMs once in a while, and people immediately said that he hacks and bots etc. etc. even though there's no way he could.

Holy shit he was trying to prove that the ridill was RMTed from FI cross-server in a massive scam.

Unless you can physically go to someones house though and check that they don't play FFXI on a PC, I wouldn't adamantly claim who was on PC and PS2. Last I checked, people can lie.

Meh, in all of the past 10 months that I've been co-leader of IRON I can honestly and positively say that we have never cheated, so there's your official statement. Believe what you want since nothing can change your opinion .

My comments stop here as I dislike threads like this, nothing ever gets solved. However, if you still have any doubts Mr. Pussy-Who-Can't-Post-Under-His-Real-Name feel free to watch us kill Tiamat or anything you want, send me a tell if you need a schedule list of events.

The reason why I deleted that Bullshit post on the IRON site was because we knew who took the picture. And we were in the process of talking to LS in which that person was a member of to see why this drama was being started. I didnt feel we need to reply to a post that was in someway a fake or a glitch or whatever. No matter what we say people will twist words around and play with have cut and paste sentences and it is why IRON normally wont comment on public boards about this type of garbage.

Trying to post drama about IRON is stupid. Anybody who is on Bismarck know that IRON are easily the best and most respected LS on the server. Saying they use hacks and things like that is stupid, since pre-HNM claim change I think they'd killed maybe 2 Nidhoggs in their entire FFXI career? I respect IRON and most of the members in the LS, even though for much of my time playing on Bismarck they were the enemy. They are a well structured LS with skilled players and it's nice to see them achieving everything that they do, because they deserve it. They've taken down everything except JoL, and afaik you can't hack a win on stuff like Vrtra.
