Martial arts helps dps but doesn't affect tp gain itself, you'll be slower than a MNK of course but not that bad. Trying to use HTH without any martial arts would be a lot less efficient, but subbed you get lv3 or lv4 with the sj mantle, which is not that bad.

Not as good as a MNK, but a hell of a lot better than a THF/NIN with knives and good enough to fit in a roaming MNK PT without crippling it, and fun.

More power to you, sometimes there just isnt a 3rd MNK seeking, and I'd like to see a THF/MNK in Action, just have some sushi and some nice gear/merits. I've seen THF/WAR with a Club in action, and that stuff is nasty.
