Unless it gives kick attacks to other jobs than MNK... Wouldn't you love to see a full Koenig PLD give karate kicks to a rabbit ? 8)

My bad, but how is Aegishjalmr better when it gives 1 less enmity and 5 less HP?Originally Posted by Banigaru

With Bahamut mask i bet you could tank any wyrm in the game oh wai....
If Bahamut's mask had any sort of hp or mp, it'd be by far the best headpiece for pld (pld/nin, fk pld/war) in the game.Originally Posted by nivlakian

Whether the mask is good or not depends on how much the Dragon Killer activates, it could be pretty strong. Losing the 25 HP isn't too cool, but you gain 9 def and the MND/CHR. What CHR does is still completely open for argument, but MND actually does help tanks against magic and magic ws by increasing resist chance. High MND combined with maxed Bar means very little gets completely unresisted, admitedly PLD won't get the insane stacked MND I get on my jobs (MNK, WHM) but its not meaningless.
The hose is definitely completely retarded. Given how trait items work in this game, it will allow all of those jobs to kick, but only while using Hand-to-hand melee. Kick Attacks as a trait can't activate using other weapons (a MNK with a staff will never kick) so all those jobs will be able to kick if they go for a weapon they have no skill rating on. It has to have a hidden effect, SE can't be that stu... oh wait... there's still those goblins you can give 800-3300 currency to for 20k-500k craft items. I guess they are that stupid.
gigaflare is breath damage.. and your strategy was flawed. pull him to the displacement area, you could wipe 2-3 times with 60 minutes.
and the pants (why the fuck are people stillll complaining about kick attacks on jobs besides MNK?) and the helmet.Originally Posted by NynJa

sorry, but the mask is "OK". its nothing "OMFGWTFBBQ" warranted from the seemingly difficulty of the fight.
The pants, once again, are "OK".
The staff, with the amount of players endgame these days, arent that good. How many people are SMN75 without BLM75/BRD75/RDM75 ?? not to mention you'll STILL need dark and light staff for cures and hMP.
No matter where you are in the bc, bahamut will aggro if you RR up, or at least it seemed that way, can't tractorin BC fights anways right? This fight is real fun though, just allows for very few mistakes and looks awesome. And as far as mind is concerned, it only helps with resists, not how much damage you take, that's int.
depends on whether it was black magic or white magic that was cast on you doesn't it?
like int for black magic resists and mnd for white magic resists?
could be mnd for everything though
increasing ur mnd will lower the dmg of.. divine magic (banish lol), test it w/ shock.. also prolly help you resist whm debuffs (slow para silence) as well.
increasing int will lower the dmg of elemental magic.. test it w/ burn. also prolly helps you resist blm debuffs like gravity blind and sleep.
both help resist very little if at all imo.. if u want resists u need to stack magic def bonus.
Yes he will kill everyone until he has completely lost aggro. This is like the mithra BCNM, once you aggro bahamut he will not stop until everyone is dead (even someone who rr and has no hate) but once all hate is lost he will no longer chase you down
THF/MNK using Destroyers in a bones PT is pretty damaging. There, I said it.
MND'll also increase your cure potency ever so slightly, right?
IMO the mask, although not by much, prawns the Aeghisdhjalmrewr for PLDs o_o;;. Couple it with a demon earring or two and a Hrotti, and /goodbye wyrms @_@
Gigaflare isn't the only problem. IVrtra can charm all of your melees in a matter of seconds with single target charm (not charmga.) The only counter to a zero recast single target charm is either one shotting Vrtra in a barrage of Thunderga 3's (assuming he has to take damage in order to charm,) or using only Garuda to tank Vrtra and deal damage to Vrtra.Originally Posted by Toreador
To everyone who says this BC isn't worth it to them great, stop posting, find something else to do in the game that's worth your time. This thread's purpose is to figure out how to enter the BC (accomplished) and now strategy on how to win it. See "Bahamut free in Lufaise Meadows" if you want a soap box to bitch about how horrible this game is.
MND increases the soft caps of Cure I-IV, and also raises the cure potency of Cure V on a linear basis.
