yay no more summoner bitching- The effects of certain equipment not being applied to Diabolos's "Blood Pact" abilities
What does this mean? It sounds to me like they'll still disappear and return to their usual radius of activity after having Leave used on it. If so, it's basically SE saying "we know you're fucked BST. Deal with it, it's not changing."Originally Posted by Gatsby
Yea they put up the second info thing right after I posted that.
edit:
I think it just means the mobs BSTs charmed a few seconds before depop, still depopped, but were still charmed or something, which could cause problems... and they are fixing that? Not sure.Originally Posted by divisortheory
I can't tell from that line if bst are fixed or not either.
Also, wtf does "MPK measures not being put into effect for certain monsters" mean.
They found out that if you are kiting KB and it unclaims that it wasn't automatically disappearing.Originally Posted by Xavier
This will be corrected in 84 minutes.
That doesn't even work as a joke because KB doesn't lose hate when unclaimed ... contrary to popular belief of many linkshells on my server. o.OOriginally Posted by Raineer

In any case i thought i was just seeing things/going crazy (cuz i was lost in PsoXa and was ambushed twice by those stupid robots to get green/blue bracelets, which i solo'd at 66BST which wasn't hard but wasn't fun especially since i didn't plan on it) and didn't say anything because i thought i was crazy.
...so no good bst fix...Originally Posted by Gatsby

So. They gave Dragoons a 2hr ability finally after like a billion years. How long until the lone remaining class without a useful 2hr gets one?
Sounds like beastmasters still = the screwed.
Actually, that is precisely why that works as a joke, because NMs do not despawn...Originally Posted by WizerdRemora
The line about BST is specifically about a dissapearance issue when you charmed a mob right as it was about to vanish. There's nothing in the text that hints of "fixing bst" (allowing leave that doesn't make mobs depop or anything similar).
The line about the MPK stuff not applying to certain mobs probably affects a number of other things, but I specifically know it didn't work on mobs summoned by Defenders/Detectors. The Detector would depop after a few seconds but the Caretakers/Aura Gears would walk back to their spawn and aggro anything they encountered on the way.

why doesn't SE just place a big fuckin note on their logon screen "GM'S ARE ONLY TO BE CALLED BECAUSE YOUR DUMBASS GOT STUCK".
Consider what SE's done recenty:
Problem 1:
Gilsellers monopolizing the shit out of VE, LL, Stroper Chyme. SE's response: ex drops.
Problem 2:
Holding HNM's to "adjust the time". SE's response: SSJ patch.
Problem 3:
training mobs to MPK people. SE's response: make trained mobs disappear.
Everyone just start sending countless GM calls about gilsellers, and maybe SE will make a patch about that too....or say "RMT is legal" -.-
Sarcasm aside the above poster is exactly right. All of these fixes will hopefully free up time of the GMs and maybe allow for them to be more proactive in the fight against bots, hacks and gil sellers.
/dares to dream
They still don't adress the fact that the mobs that reappear aren't the same as the ones that disappeared.
The update that this was implimented explicately stated that disappearing mobs were the same when reappearing.
Apparently I'm the only one that seems to notice/care![]()
Knowing SE, they might fix this without issuing any sort of acknowledgment that it was broken. (Steam Cleaner, RSE Sachets, etc etc etc.)Originally Posted by Demetrick
Except those were ninja fixes, this is more like "We're fixing a graphical issue with the mobs we made disappear after you release them." It'd have been like saying "We're changing the color of the detector that used to spawn Steam Cleaner."Originally Posted by Ichthyos
