You guys are like same in my eyes.
The run where we did not have time to kill the golem we used a slightly different strat (the one used above) which included killing some elementals (which seem unnecessary). I don't believe we killed all of the elementals on the run where we killed the 3 NMs.
What else are we supposed to say? We killed the 3 NMs [edit]without speedhacking / warping / whatever other lame idea you want to come up with [/edit] (I can get 36 people to back me up) and you're calling us liars. lol.
[edit]I guess I can also mention that we are not blm heavy[/edit]
Actually, I think playing a game you clearly totally hate is probably the worst possible thing you can do.

That's where you are being selective. I posted strategy. I did not post what what actually happened, because Deegan posted that already. But I guess I will cover that here since you are ignoring that post, and only looking at selective portions instead of the whole picture to prove your point.
On Jan 17, we killed the kracken, thunder elemental, stringer, suttung, engaged Anteus and brought him to 40 %. We left the lake out of the NW passage after returnign from the jeunoe tunnel. I agroed teh quadav statue, so that the main force could run to the behemoth tunnel.
On Jan 24, we attempted the strategy I posted. Things went smoothly until we headed back to the lake. Instead of heading out NE out of the lake, the ally moved NW (damn W and E being next to each other) and agroed 4 bats. Then we agroed the goblins blocking our path to the Behemoth tunnel. We unfortunately ended up agroing the entire alliance with 2 sets of goblins statues and about 8 snolls. We died at the jeuno tunnel, reraised, and then engaged Anteus. We brought him to 50% before time ran out. The death and reraise + bats cost us 9 minutes. The question is, in those 9 minutes, could we have killed 3 rocs, 2 sets of goblins, suttung, and 2 MP/HP goblin statues and set up for Anteus? I would say yes, but we screwed up.

Ya, we only killed the thunder elemental on the run we killed the golem. (The Ice elemental floats around where we fought the gigant so we ended up just sleeping it since we had no time).Originally Posted by Fayth-
We had about 5 melee alive still fighting it when we ran out of time, but with only 5 people it regened faster than we damaged it.
If the pld was far enough away from everyone else so the AOE ranged attacks didn't hit anyone else, that might work (cycle paladins when invincible wears off).Originally Posted by FFXIFlux
The problem is damage attrition, so if you could prevent melee from dying by forcing it to only do ranged attacks you should be able to win.
Lets see what happens saturday then...
I checked HORNET, one of the best JP LS on our server...and they had Dynamis-Qufim Interloper titles...I didn't feel like reading through all the pages to see if you guys figured out how to beat him, but they did...so if anyone wants to cross servers and talk to them, go for it XD
There is a 6th ??? also not listed on the map, which is the reason we lost the zone this time. North of the pond where you enter, NW part of H-7
hopefully next time we won't get stuck on such a stupid little thing
if you're referring to the map posted in this thread
then either the markers are wrong, or there are at least 3 more SJ spots total in this area.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3.../dyn-qufim.gif
the red x's are ones i've personally verified or had someone verify, and the blue one is a location someone mentioned (not sure if it was in this thread) though i may be mistaken.
i can't really vouch for the accuracy of this map based on my own experiences, and for all the runs i've done i haven't ever seen the sj spots at the original black x's.
Well, it looks like there are A LOT of possible places since the place ours was at isn't on your map either
NW part of h-7 isn't the middle red x (closest to starting point)?
This map has the north one (H-7)

Really nothing new, but to reconfirm a few things:
Killed Kraken NM. Boss still had regen I assume in some capacity, but it wasn't hampering out dmg rate that badly.
Both Kraken and Bat NMs went down very very quickly. We were actually fighting 4 Nightmare Stirges when Kraken arrived at the lake and we had no trouble taking it down with a split force fighting both. Having the whole group team up on the first Yagudo stone and then splitting off and having an alliance go after both Bat and Kraken may be able to save time. Kraken alliance will surely finish first due to him being way easier to sac pull, and the relative distance covered to get to him. We didn't fight Golem NM, so I don't know if an 18-man group capable of taking out Kraken could take him as well, but if that was the case then the Kraken team could move to Golem while Bat is being killed. Then both groups could reconvene at the boss.
Killed only Thunder Elemental. BLMs were seeing same horrendous dmg with ThunderIV as they were with any other spell. Most were nuking for 70-90, with dmg hitting as high as 98 with ThunderIV and FireIV. Melee were hitting 10-40/fist for MNKs while doing about 130-170 on Asuran Fists. WAR with Mighty Strikes was doing about 80-100 per axe with WS in the 400-500 range.
On our next run we may try to test out some different things such as trying to pin down what exactly the golem changes to the boss, and possibly taking out all elementals.
We ended up testing a long sac pull of Bat thru the gobs that block him, but it ended up in a mess and wasted a lot of time. We got to the boss with about a minute and a half left and just tried to zerg what we could. Time ran out with the gigas at 75-80%. Dmg on PLDs was consistant with previous posts that mentioned about 300dmg on rock throw. Single hits I don't have any number for because I had dmg filtered, however PLD HP didn't seem to be dropping any more than it did fighting AB.
Nela (HORNET's leader who is JP) is on my friends list, and I sent him a message asking <dynamis-qufim> <success> <How?> and he replied to me today with <secret> I think I just got owned. On a side note, too bad all the JP HNM LS weren't like HORNET, they are the nicest and most respectable LS I know of.
Just for the record, gigas are typically very strong to thunder (resistances of half or worse dmg are fairly common even on the lvl 40 ones in delkfut). Has anybody tried killing the ice elemental to try that?

This place confirms that killing the ice element, someone landed a Blizz4 for 500.
