it isn't really that expensive to get access :l few hundred thousand gil and you're set. i'm sure they don't care about that, seeing as how they run around in scorpion harness+1s and flame rings

A few hundred thousand gil and you're set for 6-4, you mean. Even if all the equipment, meds, and special items were a couple hundred thousand, you have to think of how much gil they lost because they weren't farming, but rather running between Mine Shaft, the Coast, Jueno, Sandy, etc getting cutscenes.Originally Posted by mdn

Our group... well, money wasn't an issue for us, and we had a PLD :'( That BCNM he used up 50+ Hi potions just to ensure success (like 20 paralyzed away, haaaate) Having someone in the group who had levelled Ninjer woulda saved quite a bit of cash...
If you didn't use any Polymers you got lucky. If you farmed your Polymers you still 'paid' for it in the time= money sense.
The is gilsellers play this game to make money. Such an investment as acquiring Sea is great now but all the time lost to farming/camping + gil spent doesn't make a whole lot of sense for most gilsellers, unless it's a real live career these days. It's one thing for aurik to spend a year (or whatever) leveling CC. If he came into the game as a gilseller, however, I doubt he'd say: I'll invest millions of gil into this for a big payout a year later...because, ya know, I plan on gilselling being my occupation a year from now.
No one's arguing it can pay off in the long run, but are the people playing the character in it for the long run? Not usually.

How are those obis going to benefit the gilsellers? Even if they do dual Limbus runs, they still can only enter every 3 days, the amount of currency they can get is limited. As for all that other stuff, it's all rare/ex, sea doesn't drop valuable material compare to sky.
The most currency we ever got in a run was 98 coins.
98x350 (average price of coins at least on remora) = 34.3mil
And you tell me *that's* not a payday.
You can kill 2-3 genbus and get around the same amount and it only take like 6-8 gilsellers to do it There is also no telling how many coins gilsellers will get per run. 98 coins is a lot for 1 run from my experience, even then, it's only once every 3 days. Also, if gilsellers end up flooding the market with currency, the price of the currency will probably just go down anyway.
Do tell? I've done every Limbus there is, Im curious. Sounds like a tier 2 Temenos or something. The most currency we ever got in a run was 98 coins.

Central Temenos drops crap.Originally Posted by Lockecole
Eh... Central Temenos has jack shit for coins. Mayyybe 20 per run, but more than likely the only coins you're getting are from killing the zone boss.
You'd have to be god damn lucky to see 98 coins drop. You probably mean your LS did two Limbus runs at once and ended up with 98 currency from the two runs combined. In a single Limbus, the most I've ever seen was around 55 coins from NE Apollyon.
In my experience, Apollyon NE and SW (or is it SE? The one with the slimes, crabs, bones) are the best for drops, and 55 is about tops. I'm calling bullshit, 98 is two runs.
let's ignore the time it takes to get Ro'Maeve Water, pop and kill Olla, find and kill Zipacna. Genbu pop items drop out of the sky cause they are gil sellers.Originally Posted by Makochin
once you have it down you can easily get 40-60 in about an hour, that's at least a guaranteed 10M per run.
55 is ur guys max?? ive done NE 4 times and we got 58 61 59 60
61 is doable, I'm not sure what my max is- all I was saying is 55 is 'around' the most you can get. 98 is almost double that range.
