But in either case, if someone wants to upgrade a weapon, then they upgrade a weapon. Doesn't matter if it's not an amazing upgrade, but look at the stuff the DRG has, he doesn't have anything else to spend his money on so he wanted the lance for the final step to pimp himself out. And he has every right to.

And not everyone plays the game for HNMs. In fact, even people who play the game for HNMs aren't just doing HNMs for a decent portion of the time anyway. So judging an upgrade based on that is retarded. This guy might be the biggest soloer out there, and that just made his day.

oh and I quoted this part of what Et said because I also think relics are way over priced and not worth the cost. Talisin is my brother, currently 55/60 on GTK for the third upgrade. Him and his best friend Mikey are working on the upgrade together. I spent like 2 weeks trying to talk him out of it. I spent forever trying to talk him out of it while he was upgrading. It wasnt until he was like "oh yeah Im 50/60" that I was like, oh shit, hey you might actually beable to make it". Then I made fun of him cause really the last stage is 10,000 coins meaning hes hardly even hit the middle mark after 5 months.

Relics are by far the best weapons in game. That doesnt mean they are worth the gil it costs to upgrade them.

A good portion of MMO is about pimping out your toon. Other wise why do people camp HNM? Why do people try to get HQ gear? Why do people on Wow go to MC?
