He'd rather go back to his own forums where people can suck up to him and he can ban people that make points against his LS or dont agree with him. I mean after all he is god's gift to this green earth and all NA players on every server. CKD has done everything first among all NA!

This won't be a mystery much longer lol. No fucking way going to post it on these boards atm. Some LS can cockblock you and get the zone before you on your server and use what you posted to win. I know some LSs that wouldn't mind doing that to us.

Cause it's a race to beat it? Even though no other LS even feels like going in for no reason. But omfg it's CKD they have to have another thread saying "CKD beats w/e first" so they can feel more important about themselves.

Not like anyone gave two shits about your opinions or who you are either. Most people are neutral on our boards but there are asskissers. You picked a side, the wrong side. If there is something posted on our forums that the owner doesn't like he has every right to moderate it. He pays for the shit afterall. It isn't a free speech option lol.

This is a thread about Dynamis Valkurm. We haven't cleared the zone ourselves. Just found out one thing. Lots more to learn so it isn't a big deal lol. Have patience and everything will be revealed anyway.

I'm sure your point were much better. No offense, but the crying thread who got you banned was lame on every side. Nobody really made a valid point in the whole thing.



On topic...kinda, anyone know if there is a cutscene when you complete a Dynamis area, or you get key item and it end there?

Spent 99% of the run trying to figure out how to unlock our SJs here. Turns out it's not a ??? that triggers it like in Bubu. You need to kill the 3 red Nightmare Flies to unlock your SJs. One is near the west oasis and has a massive link with Hippogryphs. One just to the SE of the outpost which links with Manticores. The last one is a little farther to the East and links with Sheep. We were able to pull the sheep one without links so I'm sure it's possible to do the same with others, just need to figure out how. Managed to kill the last fly with 30 seconds left and bam- "SJ Restriction wears off."

I honestly don't know why people like the above posters even post here. You guys just bragging or something? If you don't wanna tell how, then just GTFO. Truth is, people will find out eventually, there is no point in acting like you're hot shit and with-holding info.

People did that with Sea NMs. That was quite beneficial, eh?

Yeah, if people shared information about sea as soon as they got it, everyone would have figured out that it was utterly worthless in at least a quarter of the time.

our ls was one of the first to beat dynamis-bubu and we ended up sharing all of the info we learned within like 30 mins lol. its kinda hard to stop everyone in the ls from saying something unless of course you have some kinda rule against it that has some sort of punishment involved (not sure if CKD does this, they might just have some really faithful to the cause members).

IMO there are 3 ways to do new stuff in this game.

its MOST fun if you figure it out yourself.
its also somewhat fun to do it after reading about it.
it is not fun AT ALL to fail over and over after trying stupid random things out.

People usually will settle for that middle level of fun as long as it means they dont have to go through the torture of #3.

So if you are going to give a hint, you better give a lot or people are going to hate you like they did. Giving a teaser(hint) is a lot worse for your karma level then not saying anything unfortuneatly. Just makes you seem like an asshole.

as for after clearing a new dynamis, yes, you do get a cutscene at the Heiroglyphics where you enter.

The only reason why there is so little info comming out is the big (and homo) LS war going on Ifrit. Basically, everyone hate each other and will try to cockblock them on any occasions. Telling stuff on a public forum will end up benifiting other LS more than us, which is why people tend to avoid that.

Lame? Yes, but so is people crying to get all info when they didnt share anything The only person that could whine atm is your ls since you gave info but didnt get anything in return. But I can guarante you if you would have asked in PM, you would get a reply from them.

Hell, lot of people cried to me when I was doing something similar with Sea, but I traded lot of info in PM to people who were willing to share. People crying were mostly the one who werent doing a single thing beside trying to find a reason to bitch about.

The arguement of "figure it out yourself, its more fun" is really stupid especially when its not a matter of logic and more of a lucky idea or thought that gives you the edge. We had the "thought" of going in only for the dragons and then killing apocolyptic weapon, and in all honesty that might not have been it and we would have been screwed with 0 AF and 0 coins had we not been right lol. If that were the case, I'd hate to come on here and see someone else bragging about winning with a different but equally likely method of winning, and then share no info or proof. Not revealing info if it is for your best interest because of server conflict I can understand 100% though lol, we've had our share of that before XD

Although as for the implication of the chat, well... my thoughts is t hat it tends to suggest Diabolos (or his dream-world-replica) as being the final boss of the new zones, which would imply a fight in Dynamis Tavnazia of quite some difficulty. I dunno though its all speculation, and I don't remember the cutscene too clearly as its been awhile since I saw it. If there is a goblin footprints or something in the zone where I can review it, I'll do that sometime and tell you more about it if you havent read about it by then

That's most likley it. If you see the markings for Dynamis-Qufim, you'll see the CS he wants you to enter dynamis and find his other self. Since he had split into multiple forms to find the reason behind the nightmares, now you'll get to fight his form i guess ey?

Personally, I do have a lot more fun trying to figure it by myself, even when it was as pathetic as sea random farming Due to the online nature of FFXI, and people curiosity, its pratically impossible to not get spoiled once someone else post info, but not everyone seem to mind. Actually, almost everyone want quick result and material reward or they start crying.

Meh, it's always how thing went in FFXI. What was the % who did CoP before seeing the reward at the end? How many like to do something pointless and risky, but challenging?



Thanks for the info about the story. Having it spoiled is the only way to prevent me from coming back since it's what I liked the most. My mad skillz allow me to imagine myself running in Valkurm dune fighting hippogryph or other things around. I'm almost bored of the new zone already The only thing I was missing was the story.

CoP mission at least had a "good" plot (compared to any other mmorpg), character developpement and relatively cool looking cutscene.
