I agree the rap was poorly done and some of the rhyming doesn't quite fit, but it's great, and 10/10 on the effort for sure. But I bet half the people who are saying it's dumb haven't heard the song so ya ;p; Unless you hear the song you can't really appreciate the parody for all it is :D.

Rap is just talking, with music playing in the background. It requires no vocal talent (look how many rappers out there who sing like they're taking a shit), and all the music sounds the same (Nelly's songs are IDENTICAL). Oh, and the hint of preschool : If you cant make the words rhyme, add "izzle" to the end of them :D

Rap is an acquired taste, I dont think half of the people who enjoy listening to it claim it to be some musical masterpiece. It sets a mood, a rhythm and sometimes thats the only reason people listen to it.

Excuse me but every genre of music has its people who lack talent. Just because you can pick up a guitar and sing some song out of tune, doesnt make you talented suddenly. Rap artists do what they do, and the good ones do it well. It isnt something anyone can just do, so its obviously a skill, and a talent, wether or not anyone wants to admit it.

Also...alot of rappers, (not all....ok not 95% of them) tell a story better then many musicians, and have a more interesting way of getting a message across to people, then many musicians. Rap is as much a music genre as some guy whining about how his girlfriend left him.

Problem with rap is that any musician can do a "good" rap without any practice.

A good rapper however won't be able to make anything else than rap (I'm pretty sure there is a few exception, but it's true in general).
