Xbox360 will sell a little better in Japan once the Mistwalker titles start coming out. Dead or Alive 4 should help a small amount also. Mistwalker btw is the company headed by former Square employees. Here is a look at some of their games.
IGN - "The first of two epic RPG projects for Microsoft by Mistwalker, the studio founded by Square-Enix's Hironobu Sakaguchi. Blue Dragon features characters by designer Akira Toriyama, and tells the story of a young boy named Shu who has special adventure with hs two friends and a mythical blue dragon."

Ohh and yes FIFA and Madden suck on 360 they are horrible games because the xbox 1 games are better and most people don't know why.
Well i guess i'll tel you guys, why do you think EA who releses great sports games every year release a shitty madden and fifa for 360... Well cause of HD, HD takes up alot of memory, memory the 360 doesn't have.. They couldn't fit the full madden and fifa in HD on one 9gb dual layer dvd. They didn't want to have a launch with any 2+disk games for it would bring up a problem they don't want to admit. Curently their is an xbox 360 game which holds 4 full 9gb dual layer dvds... Relesing a game like that on lanch would just prove Sony right for making the PS3 with Blue ray(HD dvd format) blu ray can hold 50+ gb's compared to the 9gb max on the 360.
In closing i remember the days of ps1 and 2-4 disc games, i don't really want that again..
lol what game is thatOriginally Posted by Onizuka
im curious as to which would cost more, 2-4 dvds or one blu-ray discOriginally Posted by Onizuka
because blu-ray is a new format, would it be fairly expensive to produce, meaning higher prices for games than they already are?
lol does anyone remember N64 and how some games would push $85-90 lol
It was rumored to be Oblivian.. lol But they said it was not Oblivian but another game, i don't think they said which but they gave a desciption but i forgot lolOriginally Posted by Milks
Lol i remember the 70-80$ 64 games that i never bought lol 8)Originally Posted by Milks
Well blu ray is a new format and until recently was expensive to make like 2-3 times the cost of a dvd(worth it) but a Hong Kong company came out with a way to make them alot cheaper they can produce them at about the cost of a DVD.
Ohh and if you like disks...theirs a new format not out yet but it's pretty amazing, 200 gb disk...... but not for movies or anything their just data disks atm but having a disk with more memory than my mac/ps2/360 hard drives combined..... is fucking insane...
Something tells me you're a final fantasy fan like me.
So you must know like everyone there's the final fantasy XI version coming out on 360 but, if you already have a nice 3D card or, you are satisfied with your PS2 version, you won't need a 360 for that. But yes there will be good titles.
But remember, on PS3, there is Final Fantasy VII remake with insane graphics that will come. And personnaly, I think there'll be more titles you'll love on PS3 vs X-Box 360. But of course the 360 will have titles to attract people to buy it.
Every systems have titles to attract players. It's just from what I've seen.
PS2: there's a lot of good titles.
X-box: there's good titles but lack RPGs
Cube: there's good titles but many games for kids
so I guess 360 vs PS3 vs Revolution might follow the same pattern
Sorry to tell you but SE is not making FFVII remake for ps3, it was just a tech demo, SE said they are way to busy with other projects to make a FFVII remake for PS3Originally Posted by Shigemo

Edit: Guess they changed the name cause i didn't remember the "before" part so i checked it was "Crisis Core" dunno if they changed it i don't want to hear about the game until it's a month from relese insted of me waiting 3 years for that shit like some FF game i still don't fucking have-.-'
lol XD
I hope they remake FFVII...because everyone will play it again and realize how mediocre it really was. I didn't play it right when it came out (about 2 years later), so I wasn't blinded by the graphics and realized after disk 2 the story just bogged down, the battle system was ok, but not "MATERIA OMGWTFBBQ" like everyone thinks, and Sephiroth was a shitacular villain (like pretty much every PS1 on villain...Kefka>all).
In all honesty, FF started going to hell with FFVII...when FMV became more important than good characterization and pretty graphics made up for lackluster story telling (the story itself could have been a classic, if they'd paced it much better). I may not even get FFXII...it's looking to be absolutely terrible. I just wish they'd make another Chrono game (Cross is the best sequel Square ever made, but stupid fan boys can't look past the 40 characters and realize it's probably the perfect game, and surpasses Trigger in alot of areas. I definately think the battle system is the best of any Square game).

If you played FF7 when it first came out, then you were 99% likely to get hooked. I just recently played through it again (like.. my fifth time lol) but this time I paid more attention to the detail of things, like the text, the love scenes, the actual graphics, and every little nitty-gritty thing I could.
I've pretty much concluded a few things:
FF7 has such an incredibly in-depth story, however a lot of people couldn't "attach" themselves to it because, quiet honestly, the NA translation of the talking scenes SUCKED FUCKING ASS. So many things were left cloudy, unexplained, etc. etc. I'm aware that this is a fair part of the game, trying to figure out a few things for yourself, however it's so difficult to do because of the terrible translation.
The soundtrack to the game was actually VERY good. The music usually fit the kind of dungeon you were in or the current mood of the story. The battle music (like in all FF games) does get a little repetative after awhile, (but the boss music will FOREVER kick ass haha).
There was absolutely almost no love scene in this game what so ever, unlike the DRASTIC increase in FF8 , FF9 (though it backed off a little bit), and back again hard core in FF10. Honestly, FF6 had more love scenes in it than FF7 did. Pretty much the only three scenes was when A: Aeris and Cloud went on a date, B: Tifa was searching for Cloud in the life stream (which wasn't really a love scene, but kind of close), and C: When everyone departs to say their goodbyes before going into the final dungeon, Tifa and Cloud fall asleep under the night sky. That's pretty much it.
There were a lot of factors that I really liked about the game, but you couldn't fully appreciate them until you read back ground information, not found inside the game, about certain characters. The Turks, for example. I didn't really care for them, but now I think they're pretty cool. The same goes for Vincent (whos Limit break blew ass, btw), Sephiroth, and a couple others. The main reason people liked Sephiroth was because of a few 'super-human' things that he could do (which became partially available with the graphics of the PSX), such as having a big sword, flying, killing Aeris, etc. The mystique that evolved around him was very intriguing, but also disappointing when you found out that it was all Jenova's doing.
Probably the most interesting part of the story that I found was when you were in Icicle Town or whatever that place is called, where you actually learn some HISTORY about Jenova, Ifalna, and P. Gast. Then, when you make your way to the core of the planet, and find out that Cloud was only being manipulated to begin with, that's when things get a little juicy, and in my opinion, the climax of the story (rather than the end boss that everyone things is the climax).
So all-in-all, if you only play the game, don't take the time to look a little more in-depth on the characters, you probably didn't enjoy this game to much. The materia system was really good, I think, but also just a hair overrated. It didn't give characters really anything special about them, other than their limits and personalities. Unlike the special ability and fighting style that all of the characters have in say, FF6.
End of log.
