Question for someone with dynamis shadow lord experience

lol got a laptop for christmas which stays by my side 24/7 cause i'm in love =P

My ls got him this far with 0 RDM/DRK, this was our first ever attempt at him :O

He was more closer to the 53% mark before I died. But I didnt fraps it, was too busy keeping people healed (lol that Gravity AOE knockback move took care of everyone).

we were just farming, and we got to him with 2hours on the clock, so we said what the heck why not 24 BLM, and some SMN and BRD and RDM/BLM got him down to that much.

He's not as hard as I expected, just his TP moves are killer :D

Just a little tip since you're mosly BLMs. Maybe you were already doing this though.

1. Have one BRD sub BLM and do ES Thunder Threnody.

2. Have all BLMs use the lantern from the solo ENM. (can be pain in the ass to get it but it's really nice for DL)

If your BLMs can, also have a macro to equip gear to get your HP in the yellow before you engage...trust me you're getting one shotted for the most part anyway, might as well have the whole alliance doing 10% more damage on their nukes.

What they told me screwed them over, besides the obvious lack of secondary stunnage, was they had no ES. Most of them used ES on ying and yang(wtf), but yeah, Spirit lanterns are great, they seem to make you do unresisted nukes fairly often :D Im gonna force them to get that if possible.

That ENM is gay though, once I got him to 4% after 2houring etc, then the Goblin gave him benediction.

I went back on RDM, 10 seconds into the fight, goblin gives him 300% TP, spirits within me for 2k.

lol while farming moblumin ingots I randomly did pulling the strings on my whm for fun I got pwned so bad goblin gave him 300tp like 6 times and benedictioned him 4 times never once did anything to me and man that mannequin hits hard for a whm lol

LOL no still nobody has answered me how long it usually takes to kill him once you engage which is what I'm mainly curious about like someone just posted they did it wth 36 people and 3 were rdm/drk well does that meen it doesn't even take 3 minutes or a HUGE amount of DD

right now it seems like dynamis lord is identical to any other city boss accept its recommended you stun the sukker nonstop if you wanna actually live

Generally if he's not killed in under 2 minutes you lose. Eventually Oblivion Smash or something gets through the stuns and damage is interrupted. When that happens even the best-executed plans fall apart and you just die.

So yeah, DL takes 2 minutes to kill, if only because he (or one of his clones, or ying and yang) kills you if he's alive longer than that.

Ok now it's obvious you're trying to raise your post count.


And if DL was just like every other boss, he'd be dead way more many times than he's been killed now. His TP moves are just insane.

You have to use drinks? I do it every 5 days as WHM, I've never had to use any drinks. Just AF + life belt + earth staff + sun rings + meat mithkabob.

well here is the log I did recently of the ENM. How much is it hitting you for and how much dmg you doing? Even with benediction near the end sometimes, the fight seems pretty easy.
