A few months ago, a really shitty newb LS claimed Fafnir. They were wiping to non-SSJ version and the few that were left were running around pit. Fafnir did Breath in the middle of a 180 and wiped almost everybody in the pit. It was awesome. 8)

Fafnir levelled up on us too today :D

Japanese people have no morals. We pull fafnir and we werent doing great (2 tanks down within 5 seconds due to a spaced out whm) , so they randomed with the other LS that was there, that's fine, we slept fafnir to try get shit back, but the JP's crowded us and stayed to lag us out, half of us couldnt hit our macros in time, and we couldnt keep anyone alive.

Haha one of my good memories of Final Fantasy has to do with Faf's breath move.

This is in the olden days where it took LSs a while to kill faf, none of this 11 min Fafhogg mess.

Anyways, so its like an hour until maint so and Faf's window just opens but we decided not to camp him. Turns out the other LS that camped him (only 2 LSs camped HNMs at the time) didnt either. Me and another person from my LS when to to go check for the hell of it. Sure enough he poped first window so we're like "zomg get here now^.^". It was early morning so it took like 30 min for 2 parties to show up.

I was tank so I get the "go ahead" and run into the pit. Faf turns around, breaths us all (forgot about that TP regen T.T). I live with like 30 HP and since everyone is all bunched up on the ledge, they all get hit too. Like 3 of the party members are left so we die. It was pretty funny once all the yelling was over. In the span of 30 seconds we go from "Ok we need to kill this shit fast, 30 min... stay focused and we'll make it" to "Oh shit were all died, looks like were already here for when servers go up".

I remember that lol. We were all pysched up to kill it, and we prolly would have, but just had some bad luck. I don't think any of us got upset either, since it was just so funny.

I think it was either Hib's LS or Omega Material. At first I was thinking OM, but now that you mention Hib's I think your right. I don't think OM has fought Fafhogg after they tried kiting him.

The hyper mode timer resets the instant a mob goes into standby mode, ie all the people on its hate list are dead or left the zone.

In other words, the moment he stops attacking/moving and sits there for about 5 seconds until it sees a new person to kill.

LS was fighting aspi and wiped to SSJ. durring the course of their wipe, it went yellow a few times, but it still had hate on certain people. A few ppl not from the LS that was wiping claimed it, including some thf who was in an xp pt, the guy in my sig, and someone from my LS. they got owned by SSJ Aspi. Eventually I stepped up with my clutch stun and claimed it. Half my LS was giving me shit for claiming it while it was SSJ, but SSJ Aspi doesn't hit a blm for 200 dmg !
