Could always get a hasted THF using Beestinger/Hornetneedle, while blinded and wearing -attack/-accuracy equipment... but that's kinda pointless when it doesn't take much effort at all to keep it claimed. Just don't nuke then immediately sleep something else. Or use a WS then immediately disengage. If you're a melee and an add comes near, and the BLM sleeps it, be careful of when you voke it. It's nice you want to try to keep it off the BLMs when it wakes up, but don't swing your weapon then voke the add in the same second.

Or better yet, since everyone has an extra NIN laying around, get a NIN with no dagger skill, give him a beestinger (single wield), dual march, haste, and make sure he has all the possible haste%+ gear on.

NIN75s single wield faster than they dual wield (in terms of hit to hit versus set of hits to set of hits), right?

Or... you could just be mindful of claim when sleeping/voking adds, and disengaging.

Is it just me, or am I wrong to think that anyone familiar with /echo could fake a GM conversation. I keep meaning to try but my windower console is bound to [ which makes it hard to tell.

Anyways, these GM's are basically customer service representatives who for the most part don't play the game or if they do they are like level 20, not even high enough to be a "mentor". It's like calling Verizon and asking them stuff, most people who have done it will know that the peopel you talk to are pretty damn clueless about their own product. Geniune or not, I don't take most GM comments about fundamental game programming too seriously. They know jack shit and anything serious like Vrtra popping on top of KRT they have to call for help.

Unfortunately, you can't change the color of the echo text in your font color settings.

Though I suppose you could always do it in Photoshop.

Or you could just go to your text colors in game and change system to look like tell. (I believe that alters echo)

Or you could send tells to your self spoofing the GM's name, cut that out and past it into another picture.

There are many ways you could fake that sort of thing if you felt like it.

    Ok, heres a queston,

Was killing Amikiri one day and gilsellers show up, steal claim, the usual. I still had hate, so me, not wanting to die ran up and down Gustav Tunnel(terrigan to valkurm) for about 10mins. kept purple the entire time. I still had hate, so i decided to get creative and ran down to where typhoon wyverns are. Many of the gilsellers were stupid and got crab/gob agro so they stopped following amikiri. The thing remained purple the entire time?! There is no way that Amikiri was still in range of any of the gilsellers. How the hell were they able to keep it purple?

(We were able to get claim back eventually by spamming voke ^^b)

    that only applies to NA's.

some JP's claimed fafnir a while ago and got darters midfight (loL?). They cleared them ALL out, and fafnir stayed purple the ENTIRE time. But if NA's claim fafnir and so much as look at something else, it goes yellow.
Last nidhogg my LS accidently KS'd it off the JP's within the first 5 seconds of him being popped. JP's got nidhogg, then got darters, their main tank used ninjitsu on the darter, nidhogg went yellow. It then loaded up on our other ninja's screen as yellow, he thought niddy popped and claimed it.

What I dont get is, last time when i KS'd Olla off the gilsellers, i engaged it, and then it was red, i disengaged, it was purple to me, but red to other people in my allience, my allience didnt buff me or touch olla since they were on a whole other floor. Which makes no effign sense since Nidhogg went yellow from someone else claiming, instead of going purple to the JP's.

if you click the link and read the entire log, it was two 75s fighing Mee Deggi, so it's not like they had to deal with adds or any of these things, I can't be sure how it was stolen.
