how many Zinc Ores or Yagudo Necklaces are there to get Norg fame for Utsusemi quest?

105 zinc ores, 1 to start the quests then 104 to trade in. Doing that gets you enough fame for the first three quests, which in turn get you enough fame for the last three. Not sure about yag necklaces, but at least 200.

210 did it for me, and I had done none of the other associated quests. I did it back at a very low level when I had rarely been outside windy at all.

i wasn't asking for how many you need, i was asking how many was available to be purchased at the AH or is everyone that wants to sub NIN going to have to mine and farm it for themselves.

When I did it it was exactly 220 necklaces to get the quest.

Yagudo Necklaces are so much less painful than Zinc Ore, I did mine in a few hours with a friend, he would farm them and I would just make trips back and forth trading them in, didn't take long at all :D

Tonnes of cheap zinc on AH. Although making the money might be a bit tricky. Easiest way between levels 1-10 would be killing Bubbly Bernie over and over XD.

Easiest way to me seems now to do the elvaan goldsmithing quest. She asks for either a copper ingot 100-150g from AH and you get 180g back, or she asks for a silver ingot which gets you 2200g back and costs you 1000g.

I'm lvl8 now and making money mostly so I can start my casinoNVM....
I totally forgot how frustrating levelling rdm was without a subjob and being lowlevel.

Name of quest?

The Elvaan goldsmith. In bastok markets you can run up a flight of steps in between the armor and the weapon shop. If you take the door to your right you'll find Michea she asks for a copper ingot. That quest is repeatable.

Do this quest untill you can hand in the silver ingot. The silver ingot quest isn't repeatable but who cares you can just delete the character and do it all again.
