The magazine is out in shops in the UK now. Gonna buy it on Saturday and hopefully have my 360 by the end of the month.

Just in case people are still looking for it the Barnes and Nobles in NY had it yesterday and when I was in NJ before the B&N also had it there so i'm pretty sure all B&N should have it by now.

Amsterdam? Are you insane? When I went there I got directed to a place where I got drugged by some hot chick, and wokeup in a chair handcuffed. Luckily the guy slipped, and I got away and killed a bunch of guys. Thank god, my asian friend jumped in front of the train so I could get away.

I'll be getting it tomorrow because Waterstone (resident bookstore in Amsterdam that holds alot of UK magazines) will get a shipment of the magazine tomorrow.

I was thinking about the following:

Let say we get our chars to 75 before the beta ends and we want to transfer our character. Will we be given te option to transfer it to any server? Like for instance the server that we're on now?

If that is the case wouldn't it be smart not to start with a name that you use on your normal chars at the moment?

No beta in the history of FFXI has allowed you to keep your levels/status after the beta period is over.

Kinda annoying that you need a hard drive for this. I got a core (hey, I ordered it a week before release), and HDD's won't be readily available in this country for many months yet due to massive shortages. £200 on eBay can gtfo too
