Riddil is a toy, Apart from drk 2hr few jobs are going to use it it on hnms apart from using it to get TP on adds and wether your skill is a B or C you can still use it to gain tp, But its mostly for burn partys and the like...

I think any job that can use it, and put in the effort and camped most should have a shot at obtaining it.

A 10 year old child would get far more fun in a go-kart than me, but does that mean i cant have one? no.... because if i do the work for one, and can use it... then no one can say i cant...

Thats how i look at it, Other things like crimson pants, its clear a PLD would get more use out of them for the LS than say a rdm or a drk who just wants to run about in town faster.

Any novatly toy items should come down to atendance and only that, i think id be an upset thief right now if i was him.

I always used fighter's calligae until recently when I noticed how much they fuckin suck, then I switched to adaman while I got funds for barone boots. Then I got my warrior's cuisses and adaman boots looked fucking horrible with them, so I switched back to fighter's calligae (still don't have my god damn haidate..)

Question, do barone boots look insanely retarded with WAR af2 pants? If they do, fuck them...

Except warrior can raise sword skill by 21 points, which with sushi is more then enough to reliably hit most monsters endgame. Ridill is only a toy for thf/sam/rng/bst/drk (drk can put it to good use, just not really end game... kraken 4tw), but for war..well.. Jaypee uses it over Bravura on end game stuff. You be the judge.

Leveling my sam 70-71 i used ridill for the hell of it and i actually out parsed the GK and kept up with a ridill/joy and axe/joy wars. Not saying that sams should be priority but ridill is hax. with sushi my acc was around 90%ish and my vorpal was doing 200-600 which is pretty good considering i do at least 2 ws per fight, 3-4 if meditate's up.

About jaypee using ridill on endgame stuff, it's not entirely true. He mostly just uses it for exp pts and uses bravura on high def HNMs.

You say ridill is just a toy but the same could be said for crimson pants. How many hnms do you really kite, and of those, how many cannot be gravitied? Things run so slow with gravity on that there's almost 0 chance of the extra movement speed being a factor for a pld. Maybe like a 5% chance they'll actually outrun a spell because of them. Ridill in the hands of a war can be useful for many, many hnms.

yeah WAR AF2 legs look horrible with the thick set...but I believe any equipment that covers up above the knees (I believe Barone does) will cover your legs enough to look ok.

I don't like the idea of using a Sword as THF, my LS tried to give me a Seiryu's Sword or something, and got mad at me when I wouldn't lot it, I'm not an evasion THF ><

I seem to be the only person in the world who uses Warrior's Calligae with any sort of regularity. I only make my own parties and I'm always the tank and their stats lend themselves to doing that very well. I guess you could argue the extra attack stats from others would be better for a DD tank but they give less parry skill ups. I have started to use Adaman Sollerets a bit more these days though but that's only because I don't want to afford the amazing Unicorn Boots.

Someone find out if Fighter's Calligae +1 add more than 1.2% Double Attack please.

Before Rng nerf i xped with my Samurai friend who has a ridill, he want sam/rng and spammed the shit out of sidewinder, was pretty awesome, Now I think he only uses it to kill links at aspi lol
