Not multiple times, 24 hours a day on the same character is a very good chance that these people are punching a clock and working in shifts. I don't know of any people that play a "fun" game in shifts and do nothing but sit in the same spot 24 hours a day every day.

I have a group that monopolizes Boroka 99% of the time and we've jacked the price on Horomusha Kote from 4M to 15M in a week but we don't sell the gil. Even if we did, the same gil is going around and noone is getting hurt. So how are we different than these people that are able to get ground HNMs all the time?

Even if they lost a bunch of gil HNM claims to other LSes, how is that going to change the economy or RMT? SOMEONE's going to claim these NMs, it really doesn't matter if they sell gil or not.

Or Square could buy a small amount of gil from a company to be sent to a dummy character. They then trace where said RMT gil came from, and who sent that character gil then observe all of those characters as well as people who are buying gil from said company. With a slight amount of effort it would be easy to determine the gil farmers, sellers, and buyers.

Oh sorry, that would take some work. Instead, they will make EX versions of equipment drop that cannot be synthed into better equipment and put the old versions in BCNMs to drive up the price so people RMT more.

Even if players in question don't actually sell gil, they are still "gilsellers".

While the phrase may have a literal meaning along the lines of "seller of gil", it has expanded to mean "person who does nothing but make gil 24/7, doesn't get anything exceptional (with the amount of gil they make they SHOULD have level 5 relics...), and MPK's/KS's". And I would contest that the world is flat and there is some magical force that transports you from one side to the other, which just gives the appearence that the world is spherical. People are giving you evidence and you choose to believe that it is not sufficient to prove something. Short of talking to them in Chinese and having them admit that they are gil sellers(and they could always be joking with you, I'm sure the defense would be) you can't prove jack if someone refuses to listen. As you own posts have shown, you can always come up with an alternate explanation for anything.

If you have a big issue with people selling gil to other people, you should have an issue with people who give out gil to their friends because it's practically the same (regarding your external perspective, since they both do not affect you in any way).

All's I'm saying is that the fact they camp NMs 24/7 and sell rare items all day doesn't directly affect you more than your hardcore camping NM LS. What difference to YOU is it where the gil ends up? I don't lose any sleep over people giving out their earned gil for free OR for real money and I honestly don't see how anyone could. /shrug

However, MPKing and KSing is obviously fucked up and that's more of a game design problem... plus, gilsellers aren't the only ones who do it.
