i know ive said this numerous times in various posts (i think, i hope) but i still see people talking mad shit about the decision to make elel a bk mob

here is the lore behind it

at one time, we thought gear mattered in FF. at one time, around the beginning of cop, we also had high hopes for it and thought 90% of NMs might not be useless. since elel has been around since basically the beginning of cop that was when we thought it might be important. at around the same time we also thought elel dropped concealing cuffs thanks to terrible community sitemaking. combine these 2 and square had us fooled.

ondori and i made the bulk of the decisions for what to include, points, organization, but i got a lot of advice from quicklet too. he and i fantasized about farming elel and maxing on concealing cuffs and having pimp -67 enmity setups with the max gear possible (including novia, etc) so...... we thought it would be important

and then we just got too lazy to delete it when we all realized we were all wrong
