JoL Pandemonium server part II

Don't generalize, I posted way back in the 4th page or so that I thought the possibility of a Regen nerf was true. Apparently the Summoning timer was nerfed down to 2:30, almost certain of this, so its not out of the question. A few people don't believe it was, a few think its plausible, such as myself. In the end, its the same thing, and hopefully more LSs will be able to defeat JoL soon as well, whether it be from information gathered in this thread, or from the nerf, either way it ends the same.

LOl, I have no personal vendetta against anyone in your LS, suffice to say in any party/LS/event where the name Kupo has come up I have only ever heard bad, bad things about one or another of your members, lets not bore this site with THAT monster of a list. You KNOW you aren't liked so quit acting defensive since its too bloody late to change anything. Taking a shot at my LS which was formed barely a month ago is a pretty cheap shot but I can't say I am surprised. In case you still don't get it, I said you did a good job but that it was painfully evident that it was nerfed.

While some JP BLMs do go with a more defensive setup often, saying that all of Simd's army did so is a ridiculous generalization.I'm sorry but considering the go all out nuking tactic they used it would require phenomenal levels of retardedness not to switch to an offensive setup, give the guys some more credit will ya.

Now all this would be a moot point, but the sooner people start killing JoL the soner AV will be figured out, and you insisting that its still as insanely hard as it was initially is not helping that cause at all.

I think its incredibly reasonable to say that all the blms would go in a -enmity setup, especially if it was specifically their tactic - not a blm's preference. Aside from that, your tone is defenitely more belittling then praiseful in your posts.
That said, going soley off what BG has said, I think its regen was most likely nerfed, but who really cares.

Allow me to elaborate, since we're going for the Vin award and waiting on an earth weather--let alone a KV--that won't fucking pop.

I'm tired of this "did SE nerf it's regen" arguement. "Well, BG couldn't beat it with no BLMs in main, and Simd's LS beat with 50 BLMs, and you guys didn't use 50 BLMs, so it must have been nerfed." Then you've got people like Caocao and Pleroma on here, who have a professed dislike for our LS as a whole, and who didn't even have sea access when Simd killed Love saying, "Oh yeah, I saw it, it was totally nerfed." Get over yourselves.

Look, when BG popped nobody had every popped it before; nobody knew what to expect. When Simd's group popped it and finally got it under control, they took it down about 1% per minute. Once we got it under control, we took down at a marginally faster rate with more dps than they had. What do you expect?

Maybe they nerfed regen, but it doesn't seem like it to me, and even if they hadn't we still should have won with the strategy we had. We're not fucking morons and we're not going to waste our pop items if we knew what the fight entailed and we knew we couldn't kill it.

Let's not bother with cheap shots and hearsay in this thread. No LS is full of innoncent angels...either my own or any other on Pandemonium. To judge an entire LS based on what one heard about or seen out of a few members is rather foolish. I'm sure, though, no matter what I or anyone else may say or do, it's probably safe to say we'll be hated for some reason...justified or not.

Meh, the bashing of Caine isn't really needed here, Pleroma insulted us, and we're insulting his LS(his leader), really makes us no better. Its a massive derail, and really has nothing to do with the thread regarding AV and JoL. If anything it gives truth to their claim regarding our attitudes, so lets not even start it on this thread which for the most part has been highly informative regarding these EPIC battles.

Agreed with Xellos, but I stand by what I have said. One last thing:

I was not referring to Caine, I have disliked/seen dislike for Kupo long before I even knew about him and I am quite aware of what he has done and all I can say is that he is a competent leader and a good person regardless of his occasionall asshat side. I was in OM for crying out loud, I know what actual corruption is. Now lets drop the LS flames and flame JoL/AV opinions onry please ^^

I see your point Suiram, but I repeat that if you put yourselves in Simd's/BG's shoes for a moment you will see that there is no way that they could have overlooked this. Even you guys obviously thought BLMs couldn't manage it and attempted a SMN based strategy at the beginning (unless I misinterpreted what I saw, but it sure looked like nuking was not planned as the main damage source.)

There is a marked difference between something being easy and something being made to seem easy. Even watching a veteran LS kill wyrms the danger factor is always there and I've never seem myself go "Damn any decent LS could manage this." That was just not the case today, I'm sorry to say but putting aside the compounded difficulty of popping JoL it just wasn't that impressive.

Ninja edit to add something of relevance: The fact that the JoL ??? is linked to AV's death rather than JoL's seems like a clear clue to some relationship between the two beyond the obvious. His pop text makes it clear he wants to see the principles that guide us, now these are most likely indeed the 7 virtues which could methaphorically jail him if "used" on him.

Getting more into the semantics of what he says, the reseased virtues bring him negative emotions which could be taken to mean that they fuel his violent behavior. Perhaps the key is to remove these feeling and memories to weaken him, which would require the sealing off of the virtues. Further examining jailer behavior may yield the way to disable their respective virtue. Either that or finding the game equivalent of a counter-virtue (sin?)

Well, JoL isn't broken anymore obviously, whether it was in the past is hard to tell. If it was, and was "fixed," I'd say the battles are pretty epic atm. JoL is a fun fight IMO, similar to Vrtra in job requirements, and has a lot of different angles which need to be approached in order to secure a win.

AV atm, is pretty hard to tell. You could say its broken, but again, might just be the inexperience factor. Everyone thought Kirin was "broken" at first too, as aforementioned, and maybe he was. Maybe we just need more experience, or maybe there's something we're missing. I think AV is beatable, but its gonna take a lot of delevels before a solid strat is worked out, and even then, it'll be both close and messy. :wink:
