Fair enough. Now tell me: What's the secret to the Grah M chips? The drop rate totally sucks. Have you guys noticed an improvement or decrease in the drop rate?

They seem to drop in streaks or occasionally favor a particular element of ghrah. Usually to get Ghrah chips, we kill all the Eo'ghrahs (Grand Palace) on the way to an NM or while waiting for someone/something.

Ghrah M Chips drop rate is super gay, and its also super random...i remember my first time in sea back in the summer we got 4 chips just going through the path on 8-2, but i've also gotten only 1 out of about 4 hours of farming.

The Ix'DRK ??? does indeed stay around for 30 mins now, which kicks ass cause now you can stick around for 2 sets of aerns before it switches location, we finally popped this bitch yesterday, no deed dropped but we got the vice, the last two times we've tried to pop the NM it took us over 3 hours to do and nothing happened, but this time we waited around for about 1 1/2 hours til someone got the message, so maybe SE made it easier to get sheer animosity?

Maybe SE made it easier to pop Ix'DRG on the 2nd floor too.

That is exactly what happened to me (and exactly what I subsequently did). Don't get me wrong, a hHP or hMP earring is nice but it's not worth putting up with killing an annoying enemy over and over for such a shit drop rate.

i just collected them over the many months i was in sea doing random things, and had people convinced to pass them to me if they fell at a hunt. 1 slot in the mog house wasnt too bad to deal with while i waited for the # of chips to go up. But yes, i agree, the drop rate SUCKS and the mobs that drop them suck and everything about the process sucks.

It happens to be very boring and annoying, in my opinoin. Especially when the ??? repops in the same position, and you only get one set of aerns in 30 minutes.

The faith ??? have also had an extreme reduction in the repop time, it was either instant or one minute last I checked.

I haven't seen temperance in a while. I'm beginning to think Fenrirs "Steam Cleaner" bug is back in action. Unless more linkshells have begun killing it here.

A static doing 8-2 accidentally popped Temperance about 3 days ago.

His spawn seems very rare, or he might just be on a long repop.

I popped Temperance before with another blm. I just wanted to see if I could, and sure enough on the third kill he came and destroyed us.

Then there was an update on October 11:
"The behavior of certain notorious monsters in Al'Taieu has been adjusted."

Notice it says specifically Al'Taieu. Simd on Pandemonium attempted and defeated JoL in November.

Then another update on December 13:
"The behavior of certain notorious monsters in Lumoria has been adjusted."

This one is more vague and could have changed NMs in any area of Lumoria.

Sigma is our "???" spotter in sea. I can verify that the ??? for Faith was sitting at his spot for at least 20-25 minutes, as we kept running from one tower to the next in anticipation of where it was gonna spawn next.

Is it possible that it was up for 5~10 min before your spotter arrived, despawned and he didn't notice, respawned a minute later in the same tower, and then despawned 15 min after that?

You know, anything is possible. It was our first attempt at popping him and we were basically flying by the seat of our pants. The rotation of the ??? is a minor annoyance compared to the horrible fucking drop rates. I stand in awe of BG and Kupo for just having even popped JoL. The amount of mindless fucking farming that went into that is just mindboggling. I mean, come on SE. The drops are fucking Rare/Ex, right? I'm still holding out the vain hope somehow in a future patch or expansion SE is gonna make Sea NM's worth the time spent.

Maybe SE wanted this type of thing to happen. Instead of some guys just zerg/powergaming to have to thing, they wanted the drop rate to suck so badly that you wouldn't 'farm' for them, so much as you'd just slowly get them by spending time in Sea, since half of them aggro, and you need to farm them to pop Faith.

Seems to have worked.

I farmed them on my blm - at 200-300xp a pop solo they we damn good xp, at the same time as getting me organs. It probably took a week or so farming, but god damn if it wasnt worth it, I got a buffer for the first time, and I got +2hMP, possibly the equally greatest stat for BLM.

Are you guys killing the ones in the palace or the garden? Drop rate is still complete shit on Aw'Euvhi, but still a lot better than Eo'Euvhi. I'm not even sure Eo'Euvhi drops the NQ organ.

I got my 5 organs plus a bunch of tissues and an HQ organ soloing Aw'Euvhis over the course of one weekend as BLM/RDM. I'd say it took about 30 or so kills total. I basically went back and forth between between the two euvhi rooms on the right and left side when you enter the garden. I'd afk in the rooms with the aerns when I got bored or just logoff and basically didn't leave the zone until I got all 5 organs.

I dunno, maybe I just got lucky? =/

I kill the ones that give me 100-130 xp solo. I can kill without convert, basically I just kill one/rest full/run to next. I kill one whole "half" of the zone then backtrack. I *know* they drop because I had one drop when duoing with a BLM friend, but he had 3 already so I gave to him.

I'll probably head back and do this again tonight, I want the earring!!

one time when my ls was doing faith and the moderation/avarice IxAern, i swear to god a couple times we have had the ??? pop on us then depop in less than 1 minute then repop either in the samepot or somewhere else. wtf is up with that....

This may have changed awhile ago without me noticing since we just started Sea up again recently, but have pop items from Ix's and Jailers gone up or become 100%? We did 3 Ix'Mnk's and 2 Ix'DRK's and got their respective Deed every time. Also did 3x Faith and got 3x Virtue's.
