Yeah I don't know much about this fight (yet) but when he stated "it used Blood Weapon and regenned from 30% to 70%", that kinda puts Jorm in perspective.

Invincible blocks blood weapon though? I'm a noob about pld's I just always find it funny that in Ballista when a pld uses Invincible you can kill them with bloody bolts still. It's also how I solo'd the Dynamis lord...

Anyways that BC sounds like fun, too bad I am a melee.

No he stated PLD/NIN with Invincible which would hold hate and blink. I am guessing that BW acts like a Enspell, which is magical and therefore not blocked by SP. I would imagine that is why you see Bloody Bolts work against SP as well.

Yeah PLD/NIN using SP on Jorm would basically nullify Blood Weapon as long as the PLD/NIN doesn't get hit for the drain to take effect. The reason why he would use 2hr is so that he can hold hate from all the BLMs or other DD going all out. Don't want Jorm one-shotting the BLMs after they pull hate and getting back his HP.

Unless Jorm's BW is special, BW drains the amount you were hit for.

BW on invincible should So it should hit for 0 because its still physical melee hits, and drain for 0 because that's the damage it did.

Bloody Bolts are something else entirely because the amount of HP drained is independant from physical defense and from the damage the bolt itself did, like the way a bloody will hit a Dynamis icon for 5 damage but still drain as much as on normal mobs.

BW drains the amount of DMG you're hit with, if you're hit with 0, it'll drain 0 HP....i havent tested this to make sure but from every DRK mob i've tanked, BW was 1x hit not 2x hit like some DRKs claim it is, i even get yelled at trying to explain how its not 2x because my job is to basically tank DRKs.

if you get a PLD/NIN to Invincible, he'd probably have to spam all his hate controllers on jorm to keep jorm focused on him while the BLMs are spamming nukes constantly, maybe this method would save a CS+Stun for something else if its done right

I don't know how Jorm works, but when I tanked him on NIN and he hit me for like 150 and he drained like 300 HP.. I really don't know how this works O_O

Lol I love how Stan says his strat is a winning strat yet he hasnt won >.> how does that work? As far as Jorms Bloodweapon you can blink it. Pld/nin Nin/war or Pld/war with AA (like we do him).

Just cause you know how to fight Fafnir doesn't mean that one day someone might move by accident and Spike Flail it.

Just like this strat we have made mistakes to cause a wipe.

As for the guy before that.. no I didn't have earthen ward up.

And for the guy from KoN... AA? Considering you been in the BC I am amazed you suggest this.. Tiamat Vrtra and Ouryu don't live past 20 seconds.. and Jorm's HP fell to 5% in about that time and he drained it back cause of mistakes. I am confident we will win today. There is no time for AA or anything minor it has to be all fast paced similar to DL.

Mmm, do they outrun NIN AF booties? Those are pretty fast paced! NIN/BLM bio kills are pretty slow though.

Is gigaflare like GA spells and will only hit alliance, or will it hit everyone, or is the BC a "hit everyone" area like Dynamis?

You can Gravity them, but they seem to have Auto TP like Fafnir unlike the real versions because jorm used Steel Blast and something else back to back so keeping them alive too long doesn't seem smart.

Flares are one direction.. We just have a NIN with 1800 eat it and Firaga IV is rarely done, but we stun it.

that's like saying, the strat to winning KB is kiting him around, but if you get a mistake of meteor landing and then thunderspark right after, then meteor again and wipe, it's not a winning strat.

And if this BC wasn't time there would be easier ways to handle these wyrms, but u have to find other methods for this BC.
