Hmm I think got FFXI when around the time when you tried to start a group for FFXI with people from the mmorpg-net forums and such (if I am remembering correctly...) But FFXI really didn't interest me much so I had it sitting in my closet until early spring/late winter of last year (I still probably shouldn't have started playing it though ><)

I think Bahamut's Hose are wasted on Monk. It seems pointless to deny one of the many jobs that can equip it the ability to kick when all a Monk gains out of it is Kick Attacks+1.

We had it planned. Tried to go last Friday, but 2 people couldn't enter the BC because forgot to get the cutscenes done so it became more of a trial run, got it to 59% before wiping. Made 2 attempts today, lost the first and won the second.

Winning setup was
NIN PLD/NIN RDM BRD WHM WHM
BLM BLM BLM BLM BLM BRD
BLM BLM BLM NIN RDM WHM

We tried to use 2 SAMs for skillchaining in the previous attempt but swapped them for 2 more BLMs because their WS hit for 0 thanks to Protect/Stoneskin and they sometimes got terrored/petrified right before the skillchain.
