Actually, mreh, it's more about convenience, but its stats are a bit better than the HQ staves. (I remember the whole argument on how Astral Signa sucked bc HQ owned it, but this staff owns even HQ... but you could seriously do without it.) HQ staves also have other uses like for your subjob... for instance, trying to silence with an auster's staff which I've done to Suzaku as SMN/WHM while everyone else tried to. =D

I'm seeing more pics of dragon staff dropping than Bahamut staff... which leads me to believe this is Tzee Xicu all over again, but without the annoying wait for HQ pop...

NIN can't wear crap for H2H it kinda pisses me off. Please God let us wear Vishnu's or something. At least Faith can be worn by NIN otherwise we get screwed and we actually have skill in it.

rdm doesnt have h2h skillz. but there are tons of h2h weapons rdm can use so does staff lol....

the point in question is how can 1/1 tell if something is rare or not. someone can be 1/1 on THF Knife or 1/1 on Defending Ring. that's not enough information to comment on its rarity.

I'm 1/1 on the THF Knife too, so if I didn't know any better then I could think that the THF Knife is not so rare. But obviously I sold it for 30mil so I know better (long time ago when gil was actually worth something).

Ok so it won't drop on their next 99 bahamuts.

I am 1/1 on Archer's Rings, I killed 1 Stroper Chyme ever at RDM50. Obviously it was a common drop.
