Well I was hoping the Texans would make the superbowl (lol) but since they missed it by a tiny bit, I'm going to go with the Seahawks.

David Carr is a good QB, do you think they'll get Vince Young and try to trade him to SF or NO or just get Reggie Bush and have Carr be the future?

(anyone can answer, but i'd like to hear from Almaa and Yummy)

imho that's the good move. Vince Young might've made ticket sales go up but I feel that Reggie Bush would benefit the team more as a whole.

It's hard. David Carr sucks but passing on Reggie Bush would probably be the dumbest thing any organisation could do.

Carr is a good quarterback, but he needs a LINE, we need to get Bush and trade him for a damn line!

Edit: the Late Late Show is a re-run, so no superbowl predictions tonight

It is hard to be a good quarterback when you get sacked every other play. I agree texans taking bush is a good move (Why resign carr and go with young?) but I still will be sad to see him go to Houston if it happens, nothing against the Texans, but seeing someone with that much potential go to an O-Line that is that bad, really seems like a waste.

That's why he needs to be traded for a line that is worth a shit so Carr can perform.

I hate to say this, because I think he's just plain awesome, but Reggie Bush will not be a NFL superstar. He's more like a Warrick Dunn type, someone that can break open plays and a good 3rd down back that can catch and make plays in the passing game...but the guy never average 20 carries a game in college, he'll get eaten alive if they try to make him a workhorse back.

Texans need to trade down and shore up that offensive line. Kubiak knows this, he's from Denver, a team that made a 6th round draft pick a 2000 yard rusher.

No question -- Sunday's game was far louder. The crowd was probably equally amped, but Qwest is designed for noise, whereas the pre-2005 Reser was not. Last year's games at Reser (with the new staidum) had moments that were louder than any game at the old stadium, although the crowd was clearly not as hyped about throwing 6 interceptions and losing to Arizona.

I haven't been to a UW home game, actually. I do want to get up to one, but I don't think going up now would do it justice. I had friends with an extra ticket in 2000, but had to work. That would have been an awesome game to be at. I was at a couple of Seahawk games in Husky Stadium during the couple of years they played there, but I doubt that was the same feel, either.

You're not understanding at all. When that interception happened, Steelers were up 14, it would've put em around the 30. That's easily another 7 (Up by 21) or another 3 (up by 17 and basically out of reach) But No, America wants Peyton so he got another chance. But when Peyton had to follow through Peyton got owned, like the entire game.

And yes analysts really are correct all the time, huh? Then it also made sense that all 3 games Steelers were underdogs and weren't picked to win?

I agree with the Bengals statement though. Kind of hard to win without your star QB(even though it's not like Kitna wasn't comeback player of the year or anything...). But that's how it is, you gonna play the steelers, you can't be a pussy. Happened to Tom Brady a few years ago if you remember. Then fucking Bledsoe had to be a dickhead...motherfucker.
Maybe I should clarify. Any win on the road in the NFL playoffs is an impressive win, no question. Beating the Colts on the road is an amazing achievement as well. I'm not knocking the Steelers achievements at all, they've had a more impressive and more difficult run than the Seahawks. I just don't see the Colts win as quite as dominating as others do.

Very true. The QB is clearly the most important position, however. You can survive losing a premiere RB (witness Seahawks vs. Redskins or Panthers vs. Bears), but losing your starting QB to injury in the playoffs pretty much dooms you right there. If either Roethlisberger or Hasselbeck goes down in the first quarter, the game's pretty much over. The Steelers have a strong D which might keep them in the game and the Seahawks have Shaun Alexander who might salvage a few points, but there's no question. If the Steelers lose their second best player (Polamalu? Bettis? Ward? Parker?) or the Seahawks lose Alexander, they still have a chance to win.

Yea I do agree there, if we lose Roethlisberger, we are SHIT OUTTA FUCKING LUCK, Tommy Maddox is a garbage QB who only lost us games this season. and yes, losing Ward or Polamalu would be a nice big kick in the balls.
If Bettis SOMEHOW goes down... I think I would be so dam sad. its his last game, in the supwerbowl, in his home town hahahha.

The O-line does suck on the Texans but you can't possibly put all the blame on them. David Carr always takes a LONG time to get rid of the ball, I mean long...I'm sitting there yelling THROW IT and I'm not even a Texan fan. You can't expect a line that isn't very good already to block longer than they should.

Or their recievers aren't getting open. The Texans need some good trades during the off-season.

Maybe the Seahawks of last year, with all the dropped passes. This year the Seahawks recievers have done pretty damn good though.
