Also I dont see a point in having all this haste gear for fafnir when you only get enough TP to SC, and if you're outTP'ing your partner (like your 170 to their 110 tp ) that's 60 TP waisted, and swings being hit at fafnir for nothing.

They could just solo a ws here and there.

No matter how fast they TP, people rarely out TP their partner by a 2-1 margin, which is what you need to do a solo WS here and there. Otherwise, when you solo, your partner will reach 100TP before you and you just delayed another MB.

guys...as a blm, I could care less which melee is making the skill chain, as long as it's either frag or light. Seriously, you could stick a drg in there and it's not a big deal.

I've gone war/drg to Fafnir. And yea, I died. I go war/drk a lot too...I died 10x in Dynamis that way. I use great axe and pld/war can't keep hate off of me (no enmity gear, no provoke...just damage). Those subs actually rock.

Yea, I have to sub /nin a lot now just to stay alive at HNMs.

War/drg...2 jump moves that do damage upwards of 500 each (swap in that war/drg gear and get extra TP from the jump moves).

War/drk...I don't understand how, but I get better numbers on my WS with that.

I also have a 75 thf....and there is simply no way I can compare to my warrior. I have pimped out gear for both jobs, and to return to the original topic of this post, I can't see how the guy outparses war/nin at Fafnir. Unless those warriors suck. At Fafnir I hit so often that I have to wait on sams for tp. And I end up chaining with 2 jobs.

So basically..I have to call bullshit on this "my thf is so uber" guy too.

If you read the topic, the people with, y'know, warrior leveled basically said he wasn't giving the whole picture but there's a long line from "ok so you don't outdamage every other DD under the sun" to "your job serves no purpose other than being a TH monkey".
