Didnt want to post here really but couldnt help it. All melee party at faf/nid needs is a good smn. Even on those days when faf/nid goes apeshit with wings (you know, 5 straight tp movers or worse) Either you can handle it or you cant, with that much damage being spammed on the alliance a single smn can keep the party up better than them all subbing whm.

As far as thf on faf/nid, obviously its not the best. I have to side with ryko tho it may not be the best but it gets the job done. There is times that window is hard for the majority of the ls to make, cant always have what you consider the best jobs. If you refrain from going to faf/nid based on the melee jobs available you suck tho lol. All you need is dependable tp and a skill chain. Enough melees to skillchain more often, and ofcourse the ability for them to get tp more often is a plus, but if your ls knows what its doing i doubt there will be a problem wether its a War, Sam, Thf, Drk, or Drg.

P.S. Thunder IV unresisted does more damage on faf/nid, but gets resisted more than Water IV... But people are obsessed with the big numbers.

Well think of it this way.

Other than the WS, the best thing a relic weapon has going for it is that it can proc triple damage on a random hit... ridill goes off 3x all the friggin time <_< (edit: less so than 2x but yeah)

You were responding to Lordw saying that 60TP was wasted by saying that solo WS now and then. I was just pointing out that the 60TP would always be wasted unless you could outgain your partner 2 to 1 or more, unless you just solo everytime and only SC'ed on the rare occasion that both of you hit 100 at the same time...which would be stupid because your blms do more damage than any solo WS.
