Think back to when they first added Ballista- they stated it was "the first of several planned Conflict events." Anyone else think they've finally gotten around to adding the second such event?

AV was pretty cool when he first popped. There's just something great about all those moves that do much, much more damage than anyone could ever hope to achieve in HP. Although I guess with JoL being reguarly killable now, the retardedness of Al'taieu is tenfold, seeing as how it's "Kirin" is not only unkillable, but doesn't even pop every time...

I guess SE took all smart designers away from the FFXI content team, and either hired some people from Sonic Team's PSO crew, or a bunch of gerbils.

This game has room to have open PvP matches of sorts. Just have country influence mean more.

Hell, you can make Dunes exciting again by making it a PvP zone for Conquest.

Going on that, you could have one zone in each region be open PvP and kills/death affect conquest influence for each country.

Don't be retarded. No Open PVP. How would you like for some level 75 god/god to gank your level puny/nosubjob character every time you zone into the dunes. And on the subject of conquest, it's still quite as retarded. Expeditionary Force would become utterly useless (like it's not almost there already). Either way your idea would cause to many jumps and probably holes in conquest tallying. You sound like you want to turn ffxi into wow. No, just no. If they do that, ballista (which I love... I'm one of the few) should def affect overall regional standings. I've always thought CP should be what you got anyway... not exp. Esp since you are representing your nation.

Exp Force is useless if your nation is not in last place. And the new Conflict is probably going to be CTF or king of the hill on the sealed away Diorama.
