I think this job was created to make it easier to run a casino above the AH in Jeuno. The 2HR ability would be a Insta-Logout if you lose a big bet.

That exploit wasn't very well known and like people said was patched pretty fast. I am sure they dealt with the people who capitalized off it too, Inflation didn't really go up with COP. People abusing exploits are usually pretty noticable in a game and unlike NA gm's the JP gm's know how to do their job.

I did however make about 700k off of bugard skins which were near 100% drop without treasure hunter and npced for 1.2k (I think) to the npc. They nerfed that within a week. Not an exploit persay but still easy CoP money.

Antlion Jaws for me, were 6k in the shop and dropped pretty well for me.

Because it has to be said, job sounds pretty stupid right now. Everyone who has played FFXI knows that there is no such thing as good luck, only bad things happen to people.

Still waiting for Super Enhanced Ultimate Mystic Warrior Knight to be announced so that I can swap over to a more powerful warrior and feel happy again.

Or maybe a Mimic job type, that lets you target anyone in the alliance and gain the spells and abilities of that job for a minute.

If they make Mystic Knight, I'm afraid that I will have to fly to Japan and bludgeon people. We already have a Mystic Knight class in the game, it is called "Red Mage". Give me some new en-spells.

Funny thing about this Corsair job is that giving them a gun would be worthless thanks to the "range attack fix", aka, rng nerf. So with that in mind, unless they have a plethora of abilities that would be useful, they would be just a gimped down, different looking rng.
