I whore alllllllllllll the coins in my LS. After being in like 3-4 other dynamis LS's where people are "upgrading" and get it to lvl2 (after you trade in 4x 100) and then quit when they see it's 16x100 for next upgrade, just wasting coins, is pathetic. I've seen it happen over 10 times, and while im running my LS that's not gonna happen. True I might be very nazi about the coins, but im not forcing people to come to dynamis, it's up to them

Well not exactly. I believe Wafik actually keeps all of the currency for himself if I'm correct. It doesnt go to his LS, or to someone upgrading beside himself. Correct me if Im wrong though.

Yep. I pay for 100% of the runs and keep 100% of the money (unless my inventory is full and some lucky people get coins). I dont make anyone pay for dynamis, nor does my money come from LS bank. The inflation just made it a whole lot easier to sponsor runs.

Sponsoring is one of the best ways to do this, however sometimes you get lucky and leave dynamis with 350 coins, other times you get 150 or so. As of now I've finished upgrad1(4x 100) upgrade 2(14x 100) have 17/61 for 3, and 11/100 for 4. I collect coins for all stages at the same time. Which is why it took me so long to get to where I am now (I should have had Dynamis Dagger ages ago). I also buy coins whenever available, if i see in bazaars for 50k or less. However recently people put up 90k coins in their bazaars, i send tells for them to sell for 50 and they refuse, oh well my loss.

If I convert all my 100 bynes into L.Jadeshells, i'd be at 28/61, a number i'd love to have. I actually wont mind doing that if anyone's interested >.>

I remember when I started sponsoring, my LS have around 18 people and we're doing windurst. Drop like 20-30 currency and the price was around 15k. No one had a problem at that time but as soon as currency price start raising, suddnely every start having a problem with it.

When Dynamis were hard and the drop suck, people don't want to upgrade or sponsor.
When Dynamis become easy and drops are alot, everyone and their father want to upgrade through sponsorship?
What does this tell us? People are lazy and greedy.

I disagree. Sponsorship gives a better gil/currency ratio than a bazaar. Technically you can upgrade your weapon faster via sponsoring and whording coins, than scavenging bazaars for overpriced coins.

no, BLM BST RDM are my 3 75's.

even if i was a bard i'd rather upgrade dagger than horn. Sorry but upgrading a horn just so I can have 2 more MP a tic to each ballad songs doesnt justify anything for me. Unless the horn gave me a new song, then /yawn.
BLM already have the highest clear mind in the game, and recover MP faster than anyone with cookies + ballad1+2+ Refresh + Errant + Dark Staff + Boroka earring + Relaxing earring.

I currently only have 540 pieces right now from collecting/buying/having been given coins for roughly 8 months. Prices of it when I started were 10k per piece. Then this horrid inflation started and its common to see it for sale for 70-90k per piece. Right now with those prices there are only but a handful of people that could just buy their way to a full relic weapon. And even those people may not even want it... I personally dont see how you could accomplish a fully upgraded relic without sponsoring the runs and hoarding all the coins that drop. There just doesnt seem to be enough currency even in bazaars to support buying it all out.

There have been no hidden mage bonus' found on Claustrum (I believe only smn has to confirm that, but it's been confirmed) and the club doesn't have any white mage bonus' outside of what it says.

So chances are there is no MAB and it's simply a pimp melee weapon.

That's for the Claustrum, the original weapon I was going for. I didnt trade a penny untill i knew for sure, 100%, about the "hidden effects". Rumoured to be +20 MaB, and -4 avatar perp cost, both rumours dispelled when Caille of Titan(i think titan) got his staff. Same avatar perp cost, no Magic attack bonus, WS has hidden effect of Refresh to the user, 10MP/tic for 10 seconds I think at 100% TP. Quite useless for BLM, nice for SMN solo. I have no intention of ever levelling SMN, so Dagger I went

i went up to something like 66/61 or something on 3rd, and it's kinda tough finding people to trade me back the bynes that two months ago, i was trying to get rid of.

hmmmmmmmmmmm kinda. I recently lvld thf to 34, having fun, even bought some lvl70 thf gear, I have Hecatomb/Pixie earring etc for my BST, all which my thf can wear. Maybe when im on lvl4 dagger i'll work my thief some more. Im pretty sure if this is anything like evisceration, my rdm wont break 400-500 dmg in dynamis using mercy stroke. Might be nice to play as thf and try SATA :D
