I'm sure you both have read through it thoroughly, studied it, and are educated enough in what it contains to make these assumptions. I trust you wouldnt judge the Bible just like you wouldnt judge any other book without having first read it.

I read the bible cover to cover. Most of it strikes me as fiction. You barely have to get through half of leviticus before your Bullshit Meter reaches 11. Edit: And this assumes your meter didn't burn up and explode through all of Genesis/Exodus.

In other words, they lack the thing that makes guys like girls, but have the thing that makes girls like guys. You also can't blame it on upbringing, because who is to say if two gay people adopt, the child will grow up gay? (Vice versa applies as well) While I am heterosexual and Christian, this bullshit that you are bringing up about it being unnatural and shit is just that, bullshit. (for the record, it isn't unnatural, homosexuality is found in the animal kingdom as well, in fact you can probably google for gay animal porn if you are into that sort of thing)

I can no easier stop being gay than I can stop being white or stop having blue eyes. I could get a deep tan or get color contacts, but the tan will fade and every night when I take the contacts out my eyes will be blue again. You can deny who you are by becoming "ex-gay" or marrying Star Jones, but denial does not change who you actually are.

that's not what my psych teacher said D: well.. atleast in most cases.. they don't throw out the "born gay" idea but they concluded that most become gay when people go through puberty. Atleast.. what I remember was the story of a girl that went through puberty later in life and she was already in an all girl school. Because she started developing later in life and was only around females she became a lesbian because that was what she was accustomed to being around females and such she became gay.. frankly I wouldn't really say anyone is born gay or straight cause well >.> when you are born you have NO sexual urges of any kind as is.. you don't generally have a preferance towards either like that. That starts up when you hit puberty. I'd say that it is more reasonable that how your puberty develops will determine your sexuality. (though... I won't put the born homosexual idea right out the window cause it could be that and it doesn't really, to put it blunt, kick in until you get to puberty anyways)

i agree some people see it when they go through puberty, but i also believe some people are born that way

What the hell is your problem ? Nirokun was just saying how people don't always become gay/bi through puberty and instead are just born that way. I know that I was born bi. I have always been attached to both sexes through childhood.

sorry, but im gonna have to disagree, the laws of nature state otherwise, you are born to reproduce and die, humanity wants us to believe there is some greater cause, hence religion, but when you get down to the nitty gritty of it all, we are born, we reproduce, and then we die. if someone is "born gay" its kinda hard to reproduce

something in your life altered something to make you the way you are, whether good or bad, something played a part, it could have happened very early, and it could happen later on, but something happened, who knows what it is, but it happened after you were born, now im not saying some people arent predisposed to being gay, but when you are born, you are straight
