You guys are acting like this claiming method was a big secret or something and its just now been 'let out to the public'. I previously came ranger to almost every shiki pop, not because I like the job.. because it has the best chance to pull. How many have I pulled? 0.. I'm on PS2 and have had pretty good luck in the past claiming things, so thats not much of an excuse.. I'm not claiming anyone bots, because we know where that goes, but explaining a claiming method you think was previously exclusive to your LS (which it wasnt), hardly proves your domination of pulls at shiki were honest.

Of course I always try to just avoid situations like these and would tell the summoners in my LS, begging for robe, we will go after it as soon as TC is done.. Now it appears you will never be done, since the ex item is being sold to gilbuyers. In some ways I agree with bobdeezz, that either hustle or be hustled, but I think there are better ways to go about it then supporting RMT.

Shiki used to pop claimed all the time for me when we used to camp it. Avatars will attack and claim the NM before it is visible on anyones screen as long as it aggros to the smn.

Some rng from a rival group was following us around and kept saying that he had it locked and was going to claim with shadow bind. I cast a cure and Carbuncle just turns and swats at the air and voila Shiki just popped claimed.

I havent seen a smn claim it in who knows how long. Its always a rng, a /bst or previously a mnk/war named Syara (who seemed to only log on for shikigami) who claimed 2-3 consecutively with chi blast.

Again, im not saying they do bot, but you saying they dont bot carries about as much weight. Realize the 15-20 times we have camped, we have come with an alliance, only to be outpulled by a trio or something. I'm sure you can see how this can be discombobulating, especially to hear the competition is not going to stop, even after all of your members are equipped.

Last, can you really say Syara logging on, claiming shiki as mnk/war or mnk/nin 2-3 times consecutively and logging off right after wouldnt at least make people suspicious?

I'm not even sure why I'm bothering with this, because it doesnt really concern me and camping this with such a low chance of claim is nothing but wasted time.

Actually, Syara logging on and of was Williams logging on there to pull with the method mentioned earlier because he couldn't pull on brd and smn with consistency. I KNOW it's not a bot because Williams and I told the LS when we were camping it to get our robes, and we have been doing it since to get members their robes...lol. That's how it's been monopolized. If you don't believe that we did this to get our robes, well then too bad and suck it up, cause it's a moot point arguing something that's right in front of your face.

Like I said, I don't agree with the selling of it, and I've brought it up in LS multiple times, but ultimately the conclusion always is that it's not an LS event. So whatever; this is quite possibly the biggest gossip forum I've ever seen...useless to argue on here.

Russta, he doesn't claim it every night, TC people aren't there every night and day for the pull. As far as I know, he isn't someone that claims it a lot. He has no desire to rip people off. He does, however, hate people that try to use him to make money. It's your choice if you want to take up his services or not after all, and you already know that. There's no need to bash him on his higher prices. Crafters don't even have to help you. Hell, nobody has to talk to you if they don't want to.

Here is the type of person bob is to me, and I don't even play this game anymore as of a few months back but I just check LJ's here and there.

Black Belt Items, I had all 3 of my BB items for a while and was trying hard to get the Molbolger Vine, so Bob during a scheduled hunt dualboxes Haplo (an account that was given to him by a friend on quitting) and gets me the Malboro (late night 1-2 people camping so late) while I sleep. Woke up with a Vine, and someone in the shell caught Faf that night.

I had chased it for 5 days/nights straight and either missed it or passed out or missed the claim (me and my bad botting self being a TC member and all). What TC is all about sharing and helping each other out really. I doubt he would charge 20mil, but if someone is dumb enough to pay 35mil gil for a rare/ex robe, I wouldn't turn them down personally. Look what BB items sell for these days. Heck, FFXI's economy 35mil isn't that much really...

I came back to give all my items away to a JP friend of mine who is very nice and always lends out his stuff, and Flame Rings are 7-8mil on AH with 10 in stock, so the economy sucks nuff said.

Joins another more successful shell, gets loot, dissolves from shell...

In any event, TC are very nice people... everyone in TC I have met has been really cool or all business but its cool. Everyone seems to flow (for the most part) for the good of each other the way it should be. It also seems Zen for the most part has flowed together really well after a few bumps as well and I have much respect for both shells.

Good luck to both shells, and hopefully people will stop trying to run you through the mud for being successful.
