On Ifrit server there were JPs shouting Buy? Ninurta's Sash in autotranslate recently in Lower Jueno. That scares me.. how the fuck did they get that in autotranslate outside hacking. No fucking way they killed AV either.. as my LS does more farming than the majority of the server in sea. Pretty sure VC hasn't killed anything beyond Hope (heard they wiped to Justice).

Honestly, Gil prices were at an all time low and probably the money in it was not worth it anymore. Ironically they all left on Bahamut for the most part and prices went nuts for a couple weeks. They'll be back... IGE prices are going up for a change. (omg he monitors IGE prices, he must buy gil!)

Anyways, that theory about them dissapearing around this time of year last year was something I had forgot about... I don't think they'll be gone forever. All I ever saw Gilsellers MPK'ing was themselves, granted I never really camped the popular HNM's recently. I don't think that fix can be attributed to that being their reason to leave.

Gilsellers on Bahamut are constantly coming and going. If you're on Bahamut you'd know people like Acer and Benq, then they disappear and different show up (i think there is a good chance that some of these are the same people) and etc.

When Sept, myself, and the 15 others were doing the largest skillup party known to man in Kuftal, there was a whole new brand of gilsellers camping Amemit, Akole and some other riceperson.

On Fenrir, we have the most Chinese players compared to any other server. Most are not gil sellers but legit players who play the game for fun. I was told because it happened to some of them that Square-Enix start to ban any JPN account that has a fake JPN address or repeated address. Alot of gilsellers use JPN version with a fake address. If you sign up on JPN version you have to put in a Japanese address for it to work. S-E noticed multiple accounts with the same address. Thus alot of gil that the gilsellers have put on mules have been deleted.

I think them getting banned is just a rumor.

All the gilsellers leaving on Bahamut had a firework party in rolanberry before they dissapeared for a bit. With prices what they were the obvious assumption to me was the need to downsize due to a lack of worth to doing it. I am willing to bet with IGE currently buying gil for the prices they are we are going to see a lot of the resurfacing very soon.

I used an address they used to have posted on the ffxionline FAQ to set up a Japanese account. It's been 2 years now, I figured they didn't care as long as my card didn't get declined.

Couple legit Chinese Shiva players using JP POL were banned for this, maybe it was actually a decent excuse to get rid of gilsellers.
