Sky absolutely owns everywhere unless you are a pld...until merits then you can go elsewhere I guess.
overcrowding at all camps? no thanks.

ule. range with 5min repops? yes, prz.

lufaise meadows and the garden of ru'hemt are also very nice xp spots.

I prefer getting to my xp location within 10 minutes...so KRT/Lumoria for me...or U range if I'm in need of some unintentional comedy (without fail, a pickup party will include one person that will draw aggro and die)

Spam party before the ramp in U.Range is sexy, minus the mobs you fight.

LOL don't even mention lufaise meadows in front of me, ever. Unless you are a thf or rng, I DONT WANT TO HEAR THAT NAME MENTIONED IN FRONT OF ME EVER!

I stun whirl of gayness in my sleep, so no problem there. Maybe next time instead of that shitty WAR who is dual wielding marshal axes you should get a drk instead??

Tigga: ule range is better but only if you have decent people in your PT. If you don't it'll suck because mobs do all sorts of gay shit like level 5 petrify, slowga, doom thingy from taurus etc. I've had bad experiences just getting to the camps let alone fighting the mobs. I'll only go there with people I trust, nobody else. I had some really bad experiences there that I just renamed ule range to dynamis-xarcabard. It was that bad, but I went with some decent people later on and thought wow.

Bibiki is just a high level version of the dunes. Sky is better to level at 60+ because of the rarity of having competition. Almost as rare as having 5 other players in your party with sky access >.>

    Edit: my favorite merit camps:

Nexus golems - take good people there, 4 melee, rdm, brd and you should get really good exp. Probably my favourite camp of them all on DRK/NIN because I can do alot of damage and tank them at the same time. <3 this place.

Front Deco - Take a pimp drk/nin who is on the ball with stun, a brd/nin who can pull and with some knowledge here and there you can get some really high chains.

Bahamut seems to be pretty evenly split between JP and NA players (ie. server population keeps pretty steady all day long), and because of that I would guess 50-65% of the 73-75 JP players I see LFP have a "NA{Party}:X" or "JP Only" line in their search comment. However, I've found that, when trying to invite some JPs using some simple romanji goes a long way - they'll usually accept my invites, or at least give a "{Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass.}"

Funny thing is, in the evenings PST I seek with a romanji phrase in my search comment and english-speaking players always, always, always contact me first using just auto-translate phrases. I don't understand their logic, why would a Japanese person write a search comment in romanji and not hirigana/kanji?

You should use it anyway, if nobody in your PT can Raise. Otherwise no matter what happens on the way to camp or while exping, if you die, you're HPing.

Yeah that's great reasoning. Reraise is there for if the shit hits the fan. Obviously noone can see the future, hence the point of RR.

Unless you're a moron, I would think you could get to a meripo xp location without dying. Even the shittiest xp parties at 75 don't die, they just pull 2-4k/hour. We're not talking tanking a wyrm here...just getting up a mountain without dying to ep-vt enemies.

Just imagine beeing a JP player... would you like to..

    A) Accept NA PT invite and have a 80% chance you get some morons in your PT

    B) Put in JP onry and have a 70% chance you have some ppl that will actually listen to you in your PT

During JP time I seek as JP only, too hahaha I dont like to PTwith NA I dont know. Even tho I admit I sometimes abuse noob Merit PT as Parry skill up Party. LLike this one time where the BRD outright refused to sing elegy. Dam I got rly nice parry skills there...

I don't care how great you think you are, but if you've never ever gotten aggro anywhere because you are oh so perfect, then go ahead and keep saying its not safe to RRpin b4 you set out anywhere past EP=IT mobs towards a camp, with noone in PT to raise, it lasts 2hrs and YOU CANT SEE THE FUTURE, shit happens.
