BUT THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT FUCK UP THIS GAME. The gill farmers only do the things that everyone else does. But they sell their gill. If they were there others would be. The problem isnt people who farm gill, cause we all farm gill, why cant you people understand that. We are all gill farmers. So just banning people who farm gill is bullshit.

You people want gill farmers banned are too lazy to deal with someone else trying to get claim. Legit players would get banned at some point if you banned everyone who camps shit for money.

If you dont want RMTers banned, than maybe your apart of the problem, cause RMTers are the ones who support IGE who pays the actually gill farmers. So by banning the people route of the problem you solve the whole issue and not address the cause of effect of the problem.

Why ban gil buyers which outnumber gil sellers and thus lower your subscriber base? It makes no financial sense to do this.

Um, gil sellers are RMTers too, why are you so adamant on protecting them? Real players don't play in shifts to farm shit and then sell all the gil to IGE, they keep the gil to use.

As for real players & gil sellers MPKing ban them both, problem solved.

Ok, at least they did something, whether or not it may be significant. It's something at least, and we've known SE to do a whole lot of nothing.

However, the damage has been done. No matter what they do, we aren't going to see 4-6mil SH and 4mil Verms like we used to. I honestly don't think prices are going to fall by more than a few million because all these items have locked themselves on a new notch.

most of the reason prices go up isnt really because of RMT, it just helps it get there faster

the concept of tradeables being better than vrtra tiamat and jorm loot (oh wait......... their loot is tradeable) is the basis for things having gotten out of hand once and getting out of hand again, because it's not going to change

and i really doubt this is going to have any effect.. 100 accounts less than last time and look where that got it square likes to say things that make them look good and because 99% of what they say is bullshit, the 1% of the time when it seems like it's not it's very heart warming. i felt the same way, *OMG SEA IS COMING OUT THIS PATCH* (times 3, over 10 months) for example, and it was always worthless

also sucks they couldnt afford to lose longlyboys monthly fees, and he fucked an LS out of a close vrtra fight last night

go sell gil and play WoW and claim your life is better without FFXI you fucking hypocrite

i would think a better use of instant cool down timers would be to hide/mug from high lvl beastmen constantly. I would imagine that would put a shitload more gil into the economy that stealing gold beastcoins, i say this would make more gil because you dont have to run back to town npc your coins ^^
