Theres a section called The WoW Forum.

Its just crazy enough to expect things about WoW to be in one section, and things about FFXI to be in another, and the two to never have to mix.

If there was a section called "FFXI vs. Wow", I could understand the constant comparisons and debates between the two games, except, there isn't. So while I read your post, and I agree w/ a lot of the things you said, that wasn't the point of the thread.

Without reading further passed this yet, what about Lockcole? You know the guy who goes IN TO The WoW part of the forums and does nothing but cause trouble? 99.9% of the posts outside this thread are joking, satirical, and or just meant to get a rise out of someone. Look at ALL of Tib's post outside this thread since he quit FFXI. "LOLLLLLFFXISUCKLOLLLLLLL"... And you bite in to it and argue that.

Big difference between arguement and debate. One actually has thoughtful answers and it's a sharing of ideas, while the other is just spattering of stupid between two or more people.

I tried to be friggan diplomatic since the beginning of the infamous essay (which if you read, not discounting if you did or not, does not say which game is better), but it got nowhere, and I was trying to be nice just like you said what you're trying to do. I get the fucking point of what you're saying, but you're misunderstanding my intentions here. I wanted *debate*, sometimes it's very interesting, thought-provoking, and people can get a better understanding of the matter at hand from it. I didn't want to end up in a mindless drivel rant and rave, which it's now become.

The funniest thing about this, is that if it bothers you (as a group of whoever) so much in the thread - why haven't you locked it yet when I initially suggested?
