You're still missing the point. Nobody is saying don't post in the boards, its saying don't post such overly one-sided flameish posts nonstop. You were sounding pretty level-headed/rational until that post though.

And level headed and rational got me nowhere. I tried, and didn't exactly get that in return, I'll be honest and say I didn't totally expect it, more or less a loose hope.

Can we just lock this one and the other one in the WoW forum and call it before it just gets braindead stupid? This has done it's usefulness.

It didn't get you nowhere, I know what you were trying to do. The point was that there is no point in talking about the two games in the same thread anymore. Everything you wrote was well-informed and I could agree with, but the spirit of the thread was that FFXI has its place, and WoW has its place, and theres no reason to talk about the other two.

Ok, in all seriousness, do you not think someone else wouldn't have done the same thing I did? It was going to happen, might as well as get it over with. I'm a hothead, woo, I could give reason as to being bitchy, but it doesn't matter because it's a moot point.

It's like, I could've taken it two ways at the time of noticing it. The way of what I did, and the other of a more...reasonable manner. The only kicker is, reason wasn't giving way to rhyme here, don't really honestly believe it would there either. So what the hell, might as well as make amusement while this lasts.

I think the biggest irony in the thread is that it was a response to this thread, RMT Countermeasures and how much EVERY single person was bitching about the game. But when it became so obvious that everyone just associated WoW w/ the people who were bitching, I just let it roll.

The hypocrisy in this thread is overwhelming. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall that the OP bashed FFXI just as hard when he left it for WoW during the massive BG exodus, so now after you've rekindled your love for the game, it's wrong for others to do exactly what you've done before?

And, back to the original spirit of the thread, if you hate FFXI and all you want to talk about in the FFXI thread is how much you hate it, do everyone who does like it a favor, put "FFXI Sucks and I hate everything about it" in your signature, and then everytime you get the urge to post, make a blank post, because thats what they pretty much are.

I don't hate ffxi, I still enjoy the game actually. But I do hate how it has the potential to be something incredible, but for a multitude of reasons, it's just another mediocre mmorpg.

I even left ffxi for WoW once but ended up returning because starting from scratch without friends or any real knowledge of how the game works was kinda pointless.
If both games have their flaws, why would I leave one that I have actually accomplished things for one where I have absolutely nothing?

IF there was only some company out there that combined all the good stuff from WoW and FFXI into a single game...

Did Dynamis-Qufim and it was so hard, he couldnt beat it. Then had to use strats devised by a "retard" like me, and find out it was so easy. So he had to go play an easier game like WoW.

FFXI could be fixed in a single patch, its just developers out of touch w/ the base. But theres no point in crying over spilt milk either.
