Bruce Lee.. best freaking artist ever. I say artist (not martial artist), because that's what he was. Purely an artist. Some asshole challenged him to a fight when his wife was in labor. He refused to fight, but the guy provoked him. The guy swung, and Bruce just laid him out in 2 seconds.

Err, I think you NEED to say Martial Artist, otherwise if you call him an Artist alone you get the image of him kicking someones ass with a paintbrush. There's a reason they put Martial before Artist you know =/

I only say artist because his martial artistry is one of the best art forms known to man... Jeet Kun Do. Yes he was a martial artist, but he was an artist none the less. And yes, i'm sure he could kick someone's ass with a paintbrush, and make it look easy.

Well, Jeet Kun Do is a beautiful thing, like an art form (a form of the Martial kind).

If you're too lazy to put martial before it I understand, whether you think he was an "artist" for what he did you still call it a martial artist, because that's what makes sense.

I could say Shorty's (BUSTAGROOVELOL) dancing skills were art, but really it's performance art and I say "were art" because I'm too lazy to put "performance" there. But you make it sound like 2 seperate things =\
