PLD one is nice if you dont have a shadow mantle, but it might be better than mantle for PLD/NIN since you wouldnt be getting hit often anyways

i think DRK one is sweet too...+7 acc +7 m. acc or some shit

In referance to Ix'Aern Deed drops...if you fight them correctly, Deed drop is 100%.

Yes that involves holding both Qn's for DRK, both Qn's for MNK, all 3 Wyverns for DRG...but as long as this is done, my LS is literally 20/20 on all Ix'Aerns for Deeds. We've yet to get a Vice drop though, which leads me to believe that the manner in which you kill the mob, determines the vice or deed droprate. At this point we're only interested in Deeds and JoL...so we're not gonna jeapordize a 100% Deed droprate just yet.

thats interesting... when my ls popped MNK for the first time we used only 1 organ, no drop. second time we used 2 organs. held the Qn and killed off the Ix and got Deed first kill no RR. however, we are 2/2 on DRG. we've been killing wynavs as soon as they were summoned so cant be absolutely sure.

as for the prudence glitch, it didnt disappear on us when we faught it but we were expecting it.

I'd say overall on Faith/Faith/etc that we're seeing maybe 1/3 virtue drops rates overall.

Like lok said on Ix'DRG Ix'MNK and Ix'DRK we are 100% on the deeds but 0.000000000000% on capes.

Our thought was since Sea was basically decided for masochists, that popping it w/ the fewest amout of people we could beat it w/ would improve the drop rate

The games still pretty fun when you try absurd things and don't really care if you win or lose.

For Ix'Aern DRK.... we kill the Qn's first and then he keeps reraising until he drops either the cape or deed. I don't think we've ever killed it while holding the two Qn. We have 3 enfeebling capes now for our RDMs out of 6 or so kills if I'm not mistaken (so perhaps 50/50 with Qns dead?).

We've yet to see the capes drop from the other two Ix'Aerns.

Edit: Wrote RDM capes instead of enfeebling cape

Well, I think just at this point, we're afraid to try something that may end up with no drop at all with the Ix'Aerns. I'm interested in NIN cape also, but I wouldn't jeapordize a Deed droprate just for what may or may not be a Vice drop. I don't see why melee specifically would want JoL...we havent defeated him, so we all want every possible chance at him...especially BLMs. I wouldn't say JoL E-Peen, but moreso the chance to accomplish something new and challenging.

yeah, that's pretty risky... we better not do that since the Ix's are sooooo hard to pop.

We've killed them and we've held them and gotten no drop either way. We've gotten 1 elemental, 1 enfeebling and 0 ninjutsu capes. As we get no drop holding the Qn we just kill them now, and still get no drop, but whatever. For the DRG we tried having all wyverns dead and kill the NM immediatly before it resummons but it can no-drop then as well. All in all it's retarded. If you've gone 20/20 on these then you have a GM in your LS who is screwing with the drop rates.

That's interesting, we haven't ever had the DRK not drop anything with the Qns dead, I started to believe he must drop something.

    I now sort of wonder what happens with only 1 Qn dead >_>;

I would say overall on the 3 we are 15/15 deeds.... I figured the deed was 100% when you hold the adds alive.

So you're 15/15 holding adds, Nivlakian is 6/6 with killing adds.

I have one answer for the two of you: hax0rz sux0rz. Die die die!

Actually our drop rate isn't nearly as horrible as jailers, we're probably over 50% on Ix now anyway, but poping them has been a nightmare. Maybe the drop rate has been upped on them because our last few kills we HAVE gotten drops, but it seemed pretty common to not get them when we first did Sea. I'm 100% sure we held Qn and got no drop as I held one of them for at least 3 reraises, and 100% sure we got no drop killing them to.

I just went through our logs to give more accurate figures. It's been 7 kills of Ix'aern DRK so far starting from early december. 3 dropped vice of avarice (enfeebling cape) and 4 dropped a deed.

My LS has gotten 0 deeds, and 1 vice out of 2 or 3 DRKx... Ix's refuse to pop for us, it really sucks. We never killed the helpers, always kited them while focusing on DRK, he never reraised on us. DRG just plain out never popped for us.

However, ever since one of the patches a while ago, tier1 jailers seem to have had a 100% drop rate on the pop item, for us at least.
