I've never cared what people thought of me. Suddenly being a gilseller was ok to everyone, rmt might as well be too, so I gave up fighting it I guess? I'm pretty sure you never had a pro gilseller policy, but the past few posts you've made have been urging people to sell gil, so I guess everyone is a little full of shit when money is on the table.

But the actual context of that comment was he said I would nazi the ls fund to myself if I ever quit, which I pointed out was exactly what I didn't do/other people were doing now. So ya, technically I rmted, but I didn't rmt gil LOLZ!

And, I think anyone who ever took the time to actually read anything I said, would know that I used RMT to imply buying rare/ex gear from other linkshells, that post you linked, guess what, about buying rare/ex. I just used the term RMT because there is no term made for "Buying Gear that wasn't intended to be purchaseable", except maybe BGTWITBP, but that could get annoying.

Don't get me wrong, I was just merely pointing out how the two situations parralelled, not insinuating you would sell LS funds. Last thing I need to do is make more enemies here.

As far as obtaining items through RMT (using RL money to keep something) or obtaining items through BGTWITBP, they're both obtaining an item through means which the game doesnt provide...in the end cheapening the experience. Neither were earned through the process in the design of the game that was intended: RA/EX gear obtained by claiming/killing the designated mob; Buyable items obtained by gil which was obtained through normal means.

Personally I don't care about either...cause in the end the person obtaining the items is only cheating himself. It's entirely his own decision, and one only he will have to live with.

I would've preached that a month ago, but so many things have changed in the game that my ideas of right and wrong are so jaded now I don't care. People have become massive gilsellers, screwing over friends, selling gear that doesn't belong to them, stealing osodes off peoples chars, the entire game is so fked up that I'm done trying to take the high road.

If literally everyone wants to rmt/and or sell gil, I'd rather just join them than stand in the way.

Xav, it doesnt really matter to me if you have RMTed in any context, as Razz said, the fact still remains that you got where you did in the game through skill and devotion. I have one other question though: about the people in the ls who have made tons of cash from reverse rmt-ing - do you no longer consider them to be friends just because they did that? Ie do you see it as immoral? just wanna know your thoughts
