This is good stuff. Can't trust anyone! FFXI sux so it's cool to screw those who still play it. This does seem pretty common though, LS banks/gear being plundered as an LS dies/declines or experiences a big change. Many don't seem to see the individuals they're playing with as real people, or they're just really shameless.

I know I'm an asshole for saying this, and I could be WAY off but I think the reason they RMTed their gear and not returned to LS was because all of the original people who helped them obtain those items have quit and now BGv2 is full of fucking SCRUBS!

Could be wrong though.

Is scrubs the British word for "people who aren't flamboyant assholes"? Just curious, because that would make you the biggest non-scrub who has ever been in the linkshell. (And people are happy to see gone.)

Nope, scrubs is the word for people who cyber their own NPCs, stroke each other's penises and complain because of too many events.

I don't recall bashing my old LS after I left, but if you care to refresh my memory, it would be much appreciated! I honestly don't remember doing such a thing.

The funny thing is that the LS became a whole lot more pleasant after certain people left FFXI for WoW. (Actually, it became a whole lot more pleasant after he left as well.)

theres this misconception that ffxi bg sucks now or something, and its not true.

like 10 people out of 40 left for wow, bg still does the same shit in ffxi, the only difference is the majority of the elitist (EXCEPT ME LOLZ) don't play anymore, so they aren't as public/braggy (of such a word exists) about the things they do and just march to a different beat.

the ls only really lost gilsellers though so it couldn't of been that bad.

I was a little skeptical when I saw the topic name. The ver. 1 thread was kinda a lame topic. "ZOMG, someone won't let me camp a mob alone" and all that. But this one is an example that the sequel can be better than the original. 8)

I assume the dood has RL money problems so he's willing to give up his rep to be able to pay some bills. I dunno the guy but I'm gonna speculate anyway.

When you spend more time playing this game more than you do at your job making RL gil (I think they call it money) then I could see how some people would get tempted by the recent selling price of gil. What you guys need to do is camp one less mob so that you could use those 3 hours per day earning RL money.

an Osode, which belongs to Cloude was taken off of the LS mule. 2k Dynamis Currency was taken off the LS mule (just about enough for 1st and 2nd stage Scythe upgrade).
