None of them were released in Australia.
However, we did get the PS1 remakes, FF6 I dont think got Remade (The one that starts with a Summoner and you meet Lock and Cole etc, was that 6?)
Either way Australia is poopoo.
FF6 got remade for the PS1, they packaged it w/ Chrono Trigger in the states, FF Chronicles or FF Anthology, one of those two. They packaged FF4+FF5 together too.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
The ps1 ports are garbage though, same graphics just with load times now (fking cds), and some really minor cg/anime cs intros/closing/randomly in trigger.
FF4 on GBA though, thats a nice port.
It's got a few wierd glitches but it's really nice being able to play the original Version of FFIV (not the kind that was original released in American on SNES) with the added bonus of being able to play it on my lunch break at work.Originally Posted by Xavier
The Remake of FFIII (not 6) for DS looks awesome too @_@ I was never the biggest fan of the original but putting it in full 3D could make things interesting.
I've probably got about 350 days right now (a lot of AFK time) and I just lost a bearing in my video card fan. Whole PC is Dell Factory OEM, runs great. Only other problem I've had is losing 2 hard disks over the course of 3 years which isn't too bad at all. I've never had exceptionally good luck with hard disks in any PC from any manufacturer.
Get chrono trigger for an emulator, it's far better than the PS1 version because of the load times.
Yeah, same goes for FF4, FF5, and especially FF6 which all run abysmally slower on PS1 compared to the emulated versions.Originally Posted by aurik
Chrono Trigger was packaged with FF4(NA FF2), Chronicles, 5+6 were Anthology. FF3(jp) never released in US, yet its in an emulator translated.Originally Posted by Xavier
were supposed to get ff6 for the DS later this year or early next year, Im excited, my ff4 is already on its way and I look forward to enjoying one of the better final fantasys
the chrono trigger/FFIV PS ports aren't that bad in terms of load times. Definately playable, and the CS's for CT are very nice. FFV and FFVI are atrocious on PS1 and should be avoided at all costs.
Wow a remake of FF3 on DS?! Omg...I wanna get a DS now.Originally Posted by Krandor
That'll make the $150 I spent for my DS a year and a half ago worth it. I might have played it maybe 10 hours.. and i only played GBA games lol.. what a deception.Originally Posted by Lockecole

I know, I was aware it was the FF III NES version. Reason for my excitement is because that is the only FF to not be officially released in the US. On top of that its a complete rehaul of the game engine, it should be pretty badass.Originally Posted by Brendam
