Reading this whole thread really (from part 2-4) seriously upsets me, after spending over an hour getting through these posts. Since I joined BG, I felt like I never had fully fit in, I guess because everyone had their "cliques" or whatever and I somehow was never in any, atleast I didn't think I was. I just thought everyone in the linkshell were my friends. I don't even care who did what to who and why anymore because seeing people who I considered to have been my friend for 2-3 years arguing maliciously towards each other fucking hurts.

Everyone who had left for WoW I felt were my friends, even though some of you may feel like I was a good for nothing screw up. I was pissed like most people when so many of you guys left for WoW but I respected your decision. You guys had your reasons to leave and those who stayed had their own. Why try and put down the people who chose to stay? I don't even understand what was Kuai trying to accomplish.

All in all I valued all the friendships I made in FFXI, had some problems here and there but I got over them. I can't stand how bad things have become since the whole RMT countermeasures. Is it too hard to ask for things to be somewhat back to the way they were?

Hey bert, remember when you gave me 200k and lent my a ton of gear so I could beat Maat? And Liltwin, giving me Errant Body cause I couldn't afford it back then.
Those actions meant so much to me and still does.

I wish this would all go away and things could go back to the way they were, even in 2 separate games, everyone can still be friends.

i desperately missed the 'good ol days' around when i quit and despite my biggest efforts to get back to them i pretty much failed. that hasn't changed.

hopefully my friends from ff dont think of me quitting as personally offensive, i tried to invite everyone to wow and for people who didnt come have usually wanted to log back on to hang out. ive been bad about that, but remember that time at ouryu mission? :p ive just been really busy getting up to speed in wow, but i got 3box back for the first time since november when i moved so im trying to sit idle in mog or at ah and talk to people more when i can. right now that's more fun than the thought of going and doing stuff :? but i enjoy sitting and talking a ton

I do not think anyone who plays BG in FFXI thought that people quitting for WoW was all that personally offensive. People did not want to play FFXI any more, it was a shock, but we moved on. (Although I did not understand why people made the pretense of "I'll log on to help" or "I'd play but my other computer is broken".)

The personally offensive shit started happening recently. Like when Kuai would come into FFXI vent channel and play amazingly loud music or generally acted like a moron. (Par for the course.) Or when people from WoW would post how much they hate FFXI and they love WoW in the FFXI forums. (If you hate it so much, then why are you still talking about it?) Or Kuai trying to paint the people who still play FFXI as botters. (Hmm, I detect a pattern.) Or when people who we used to consider friends finally log on to start selling their shit so they can sell their gil to IGE, even though they used to get by MPKed IGE's employees on a regular basis.

People playing another game? To each their own, if it makes you happy then go for it. People who used to play with disrespecting you at every turn? That is what we are pissed about.
