    So, lets get this straight:
1-In Buburimu, you got 5 AF (You didnt specify AF2-1 or AF2) that can be obtained in the starter cities , but the starter cities drop it in greater quantity.
2-In Buburimu, you got 100 coins in 2 hours, when you could have gotten 2-3x as much in a starter city.
3-In Buburimu, you got some AF2-1, which is: a-useless b-requires the regular AF2...

Other than a new key item and a new title, I dont see the point. The only good thing are the capes / belts, yet most of em suck.
bullshit you get 10-15 AF2 per starter city, maybe 1 out of 10 dynamises will be like that

ever done dynamis sandoria with no drops? i have, on many occasions

anyway about "useless -1" then don't fucking do these dynamises. they're ment for "advanced" players according to square, IE you've farmed the old ones for two years and have most of your AF2 already
Just did BEAUCEDINE (you know that area when you're glad just to see 4 AF's drop?), was a farming / attestation run for ppl who are close to stage 4:
    63 - A one byne bill
    2 - A sparkling stone
    69 - A Tukuku whiteshell
    2 - A jar of Goblin grease
    21 - A copy of "Ginuva's Battle Theory"
    1 - A chunk of wootz ore
    49 - An Ordelle bronzepiece
    4 - An infinity core
    1 - A Lungo-Nango jadeshell
    1 - A pile of relic iron
    1 - A suit of wyrm mail
    2 - A cleric's briault
    1 - A pair of monster gaiters
    1 - A colossal skull
    1 - A vial of slime juice
1 - An attestation of harmony
    1 - An abyss cuirass
    1 - A bard's justaucorps
    1 - A duelist's tabard
    1 - A sorcerer's coat

Even 181 currency + a 100 piece, 281 currency in northlands. Really, wheres the fucking motivation to touch CoP areas ?
    wtf hax

I have never seen 0 af2 drop in a starter city, not even when my dynamis shell was more noob and we didn't get the mega boss clear.

And I don't know about you, but my dynamis ls has people quit(the game or the shell) and we recruit new people when that happens. It's not the same group that's been doing dynamis for 2 years.

I don't think anyone's saying don't do new dynamis zones. We're saying they should have been developed better so they are viable alternatives for people who are trying to upgrade relic weapons or get af2 for all their members, ya know, what many people regard as the goal of dynamis.

I mean, congratulations on making gil in Dynamis instead of doing ENMs or KSNMs or something. Cause that's what it was designed for, not to get badass equipment.

No wait, I mean, congratulations on the xp scrolls.

Seriously, you got one or two good peices of equipment that you couldn't get anywhere else. Wouldn't the motivation for the CoP Dynamises be the exact same thing?
Lets go look at these uber belts / capes...shall we ?

    Warrior's Stone: Strength+5 Accuracy+7 Opponent's Critical Hit Rate-2%
Its OK. Its not ground breaking. It's a warwolf with acc+7 without DEX VIT or Enmity. Too bad rampage is a crit based WS, and DEX affects crits...nor do you really need a bunch of accuracy to fight high VT mobs. Decent.

    Cleric's Belt: MP+40 Mind+6 hMP+3
This one actually is pretty good. Less MP than Hierach, but its got MND and one extra hMP. Good.

    Duelist's Belt Intelligence+4 Mind+4 hMP/hHP+4
Useless. When's the last time you actually saw a RDM rest MP in a situation that mattered ?? You dont...and the belt offers less int/mnd than a penitents. Useless.

    Sorcerer's Belt HP+20 Intelligence+6 Spell Interruption Rate-8%
HP ?? Spell Interruption Rate ?? One more INT over Penitent at the loss of three enmity. Useless.

    Monster Belt: Charisma+6 Accuracy+7 Enmity-3
It seems good. Too bad its BST. useless.

    Scout's Belt: Agility+5 Ranged Accuracy+7 Ranged Attack+7
This actually is another good piece. Too bad most of the rng's quit. But still, its a good piece.

    Koga Sarashi: Evasion+4 Haste+4% Magic Accuracy+2
I'll mark it down as a decent piece, but I'm being nice when I do that. It's got haste identical to swift belt, but I dont know many endgame nin's who rely on evasion, and that macc+2 doesnt seem all that hawt, though some may say otherwise.

    Wyrm Belt: Vitality+5 Accuracy+7 Attack+7
Does VIT mod Wheeling Thrust ?!? Good piece, but its dragoon. Usless.

    Saotome Koshi-Ate: Dexterity+5 Accuracy+7 Ranged Accuracy+7
I dont know of any SAM's who stack dex. Less accuracy than a life belt, and sam/rng died when SE nerfed rangers. Useless.

    Melee Cape: Vitality+5 Mind+5 hHP+5
Best MND piece for mnk, I wont dispute that. hHP is pretty useless I find, and I'd rather wear Foragers over VIT+5. Marked as Decent.

Abyss Cape: Accuracy+7 Weapon Skill Accuracy+7 Magic Accuracy+7
I dont know what the fuck Weapon Skill Accuracy is because every damn dark knight subs thf for SASPINOMGWTFBBQ. Every DRK WS that stacks with SA is 1hit. MACC would be good if drk's used their MP for more than stun. Decent.

    Assassin's Cape: Dexterity+4 Agility+4 Enmity+5
Wheres the fucking Attack ?? Usless...

    Valor Cape: HP+40 Vitality+6 Enmity+3
Nothing needs to be said. Good piece handsdown.

    Bard's Cape: Charisma +7 Accuracy +7 Evasion +7
Bards dont need accuracy, bards dont need evasion, and CHR+7 is less than Jester+1. Useless.

    Summoner's Cape: HP+30 MP+30 Enmity-1
Seems pretty damn useless to me. SMN's dont pull hate unless they reallly try, so that enmity there is moot. SMN's dont exactly burn out their MP either unless they're completely retarded. Perpetuation cost or BP timers would have been much better. Useless.

    Final Tally:
    Useless - 8
    Decent - 4
    Good - 3

    Uh...

Gonna have to disagree there dude. I see SMN and maybe BLM as useless. The others are AT LEAST decent. Saying 'lol it's BST' doesn't make it useless.

warwolf > bst af belt anyway. bst get tons of accuracy, an A+ weapon, and fight stuff that cons only slightly above EM. They don't need accuracy and they have plenty of chr already.

Well if certain AF is useless because of it's job than it's useless from Xarc, too. So the point still remains, the motivation is to get rare, useful equip for your LS.

    <_< nah

I sold my warwolf, even with close to acc (using warwolf) i was missing rampage hits. I'd rather take the acc and have a more consistant rampage, than have STR and maybe have 1 great rampage once in a while. I now use a life belt in that peice at all times besides charm. If I got a monster belt i'd use it over warwolf.

Our Axe is A-, even with that high rating I can go whiffly whifff whiff.

On topic with the capes, I think WS acc shouldnt be ignored That's what let sam/rng with low archery land all 5 hits consistantly (Hachiman had WS acc), probably opens DRK/WAR possibilities to use with their Scythes since those are multihit WS's.

I didn't realize bst Axe was A-, that sucks
But really, 30-40 acc against T/VT mobs should be plenty. Haub+op+thick hands/legs/feet+snipers is +38. You might as well use a swift belt.

I mean...looking at those belts again, the stats are better on them then most AF anyway. So even apart from 'certain jobs are AF are just useless on principle lolz', the stuff is certainly competitive with RoZ AF...and, IMO, that's an understatement.

So there's your motivation Nynja. The same thing that motivates you to go to other ones, really. Except we don't get all those awesome xp scrolls. Or get to use Dynamis as a substitute for making gil in other ways (because we know relics are just a waste of time, right?)

Alot of melee forget that they have agressor/focus/sharpshot/Acc job traits.

BST , like DRK, get -nothing- to fall back on. We have to work overtime on our Acc.

Are you referring to Sidewinder/Slug Shot? That's 1 hit with just 5x dmg isn't it?

Yea slugwinder is 5x mod 1 hit, low accuracy. WS accuracy is only really useful for sam/rng and stuff you can't sneak attack.
