I think Superman I, the aluminum dude used to scare me as well, my parents had to take me out of the room till that part was over. otther than i absolutely loved the movie. Went i was like 6.

Anyway Superman II was awesome especially the part where the guy rollerskating through the battlezone in a sequined vest gets blown backwards. And when the guy walks his little dog through the torn-apart downtown, after Superman has been thought dead after getting hit by a bus, and fighting with that big guy underground. Metropolis' destruction is a big deal, as is the death of your only chance of salvation, but the dog needed exercise.

But what I don't get is the guy purposefully walking into this carnage with his double-decker ice cream cone. He couldn't have taken a left back there?
